[Nasuti is no longer in the Marauder's House. Not being one to typically encourage conflict (or perhaps she simply hates confrontation), she made a point to avoid James Potter whenever she could manage, so they hadn't really had a chance to butt heads in any sense. Hopefully now that she's found a place of her own, Shin's life with Sirius could be a little more peaceful.
But even though the apartment was fully furnished, it was still empty and cold, as far as Nasuti was concerned. It lacked character pieces, things that reflected her own taste.
This was a non-issue back home. Her grandfather's estate was practically an archive for Sengoku era artifacts. Here, she had to start from scratch...and she probably couldn't rely on the charm on antiques here.]
So...how does one go about gaining employment here, exactly?

[Mitsuhide is sat in the large garden of his home. Behind him, his pokemon, a Lapras, peacefully plays on the pond, and at his side, spread out on a pile of cloths, is a bunch of different jars. He was in the middle of something, but paused to check the SFC.]
It is best to find a job you would do for pleasure, considering everything is free here. What kind of work would you like to do, my Lady? I might have some suggestions.
[But, come to think of it, it would be nice to have something to do to pass the time.]
But my specialties are research and archiving. [And driving, too, but there doesn't appear to be much vehicle activity here.] So I suppose something like that, to do with computers or paperwork of some kind would be ideal.
But really, I'm open to just about anything.
[He hums thoughtfully, and considers that for a few moments. One very obvious answer comes to mind rather quickly.]
You may wish to consider asking those who run the library for a job. They always seem to be asking for new workers there
[Mitsuhide smiles softly. He grows quiet for a few seconds, awaiting a response, before something else comes to mind. If this young woman specialises in research and archiving...]
Unrelated, my Lady, but when you have secured employment I might have a suggestion for you related to an important research project.
...are you able to find items for others there, too? I mean, if you and the other person are from the same world. Will their things be there too?
[The library sounded like a perfect place to start. But it wouldn't do just to go in there a complete stranger.] Do you know anyone who works at the library?
And I'm open to any suggestions! It'd be nice to have a project.
[Mitsuhide still has that stashed away, actually; a gift for the other man that he has yet to find the right time to hand over. ]
I am well-acquainted with the head librarian, being a frequent visitor there. If you wish for my assistance in the matter, you need only ask.
[He smiles softly.]
Well, my Lord Motochika wishes to write a chronicle of the history of Vatheon, since the first arrival of the foreigners here. It is a large project, and there is a lot to look into and cover. He and I arrived several months after the first of us arrived here as well, so even our basic outline is incomplete.
Motochika?!
[She jumps towards her video feed, the shot of her tightening.]
Chōsokabe...Motochika Chōsokabe, the 21st chief of the Chosokabe clan?!
[All thoughts of furnishing her new home just flew out the window.]
[Mitsuhide rubs the back of his head, and smiles.]
It is he. He would be quite pleased to hear his name got such a reaction out of someone. My Lord does enjoy the attention.
[Video] You're going to give Nasuti a fangirl moment here...
Then that...[It did render her a little breathless--where did all the oxygen go? She felt dizzy.] ...that would make you...
[Video] I APPROVE >3
I am... I am Akechi Mitsuhide. It's an honour.
[Video] Here it comes.
Damn!
[Nasuti is brought to her knees as she scoops up the communicator, holding it shakingly in her hands.]
Are there others here?! Masamune Date? Ranmaru Mori?!
I-I-I mean...! If not, I don't care but...! I can't believe...! It's really you?! Akechi Mitsuhide...?!
[He looks a little bemused, and perhaps embarassed, now.]
Yes.
[A moment of thought, and he puts down his SFC, removes his white jacket and then picks the device back up again. Mitsuhide then holds the jacket up to show her the bellflower mon on the back.]
Does my crest help reassure you of this?
[How does she say it without sounding crazy? "I've dedicated my whole life to knowing everything I can about you" just didn't roll off the tongue...]
Are there...stables here that you work at? [That probably sounds a bit better.]
[He takes a moment to breathe, and speaks a little more evenly when he talks next. This is a positive reaction to his name, all things considered.]
Yes. They appeared a few months ago, and I took up the job of running them. When Lord Yukimura arrived I offered him a position there too; he was happy to accept, being the fine horseman that he is. We share the work now, along with a few of the local people.
Is...are the stables open for visitation? [She wasn't about to invite herself someplace she wasn't welcome, but she couldn't pass up a chance to meet these Sengoku legends!]
What are the horses for, I wonder..?
[He bows his head politely.]
I am not sure there is a reason beyond entertainment, but... who knows, in this place?
[There really was little to be certain about, in a place that seemed to possess endless power. Mitsuhide has worried over that fact plenty of times.]
[But now is not a moment to dwell on it.]
If you wish for lessons or guidance with the horses at all, at any point, do let me know... and if you are interested in helping Lord Motochika and myself at all, let me know about that as well and I shall arrange a meeting.
And any opportunity to study them at all--assist them, even--! This was an opportunity she couldn't pass up!]
R-right! I would like to take you up on all of your offers, if you'd be willing..! [That wasn't greedy, was it?]
The library job, cataloging...and...[She suddenly felt bashful, she was asking too much, wasn't she?]
[Mitsuhide laughs quietly then, hoping a little humour will help her to calm down. Really, he clearly had no reason to get embarassed himself.]
Modesty is not one of his many qualities.
[With a tilt of the head, Mitsuhide hums quietly as he thinks things through. Right. First things first.]
I think it would be best to start with getting you that job, if you wish?
I am grateful for any assistance you'd be willing to offer. I'll follow your lead.
[A firm nod. Right.]
Very well, my Lady. I will check with the head librarian and then let you know when we can meet with her to arrange your working hours.
And please, I am not a 'Lady.' [At least, she doesn't think so...] My name's Nasuti Yagyu.
[He looks embarassed for a moment at her correction, but then shakes his head and smiles again.]
Ah... as you wish, then, Nasuti. In return, please call me Mitsuhide.
[He bows his head himself, smile growing wider.]
Until then, stay well, and feel free to come to the stables at any time.
