experiment 23 || actually normal video for once.

[Stein's sitting at his desk, leaning back in his chair. he's got a squitty on his head, just chillin. don't ask.]

..I don't get it. What's so bad about the truth?

But sometimes truth is personal, and isn't anyone's concern beyond the person involved.

Like my crush on Sol.

[Ky turns instantly red, that isn't what he meant to say and he's fairly certain that he doesn't even think it's true.]

...Perhaps not change it, but at least keep from exacerbating it.

...There's never been anything it would hurt if other people knew?

If that's the case I envy you.

I can confess everything, but hardly to everyone.

Ah. That sounds like an admirable position, in that case.

I'm glad you have everything worked out.

And complicated at other times.

Which makes us complicated overall.

I'm not sure there's really an alternative to that.

Because humans are beings of emotions: of tempers, longing and caring. Because that makes things not simple, but in some ways that also makes things worthwhile. You can't tell a person to always behave logically, they'll revolt at some point because we feel more than we think, and our thinking is inextricable from our feeling.

And none of that is simple.

Sounds like a pity, and that you're missing out on things.
