1sᴛ sᴇʀᴀᴘʜɪᴍ [ unintentional video ]
[ Hey, guess who's on the video this time? A certain blonde angel - or someone whom others don't know who is an angel, sitting on his bed, while a self-levitating, strange-looking, purple sword slowly rotates in place, the point of the sword pointing downwards. Mithos glares at it, as if having a silent conversation with it. ]
You really can't take us home, can you?
[ Mithos accuses, while the sword makes no response. Why is he talking to it? Does it even talk back? Who knows. ]

[Voice/Private]
... No. You can't. [ Blunt Raine is blunt ] But if you continue to not help yourself while you're here then helping your sister will only become a more difficult task upon returning home.
[Voice/Private]
[ And what? Talk to Martel, even though she's a Summon Spirit now? Work to make sure magitechnology never comes back? Try not to have to fight the Kharlan War all over again?
Thank goodness he doesn't know that he dies. ]
[Voice/Private]
First of all... calm down. That's the first thing you can do to help yourself. Second, you need to think more on a personal level. You're still thinking about your sister and the world back home. How do you currently feel right now?
[Voice/Private]
... Useless.
[ He's stuck here with humans. Without his sister. ]
[Voice/Private]
That's the first problem. Feeling useless won't amount you to anything. Not here and not back home. The longer you have the feeling the harder it will be to relieve yourself from that feeling upon returning home.
[ Of course there is the possibility that they not might remember their journey here but that's besides the point. ]
[Voice/Private]
[ Sorry, Raine. He appreciates the gesture, he really does, but... ]
[Voice/Private]
[ She asks this lightly but carefully. She's treading very very carefully... moreso than before that is. ]
[Voice/Private]
[Voice/Private]
[ Probably not as carefully questioned as Raine would have wanted but...]
[Voice/Private]
As much as I want my sister back... what am I going to say to her when the world hasn't changed, even after four thousand years?
[ It was something he had thought about, after what Colette told him. Of course he wants Martel back. Of course he'd do anything, pay any price, to get her back, even as a Summon Spirit. But what is going to say, that he never completed her dying wish? ]
[Voice/Private]
... Well, time to go along with it. There wasn't any need for any unnecessary hostility after all. ]
So you plan to germinate the Great Seed. What are your plans to fix Aselia once you do? Do you have any idea on how to fix the discrimination that currently lies?
[ Other than the Age of Lifeless Beings that is. ]
[Voice/Private]
[ Sorry, Raine. He will still believe he's in the right, only until Martel herself tells him he isn't.
And likely without being in Colette's body. ]
[Voice/Private]
Once again, I ask you to take a look around Vatheon. I'm not going to try to change your mind but do know that if you continue to think that way you will be facing difficult times ahead.
[ Slight hint at what actually happens? Maybe. It's up to interpretation. But while there are better ways to tell him she's still not going to mention Martel any further than absolutely necessary. ]
[Voice/Private]
[ Mithos is fully aware that absolutely nobody here has even seemed to notice that he's a half-elf, and if they have, they don't care at all. But this world isn't Aselia. ]
I don't give a damn about this world, or anyone in it. These people could be treating me like a king and it still wouldn't make things any different for the half-elves in Aselia. I waited for four thousand years for humans to change, and they only got worse. They'll never accept half-elves. At least, not willingly. I have to make them.
[Voice/Private]
You're too narrow-minded. But, feel free to think that you'd like. If you wish to continue to obsess over Aselia, then do so. Things can change, but only if you take the right measures.
[Voice/Private]
[Voice/Private]
I won't try to stop you from doing so. Only from the methods in which you plan on using in order to accomplish it. However, since you cannot use those methods here in Vatheon there is no need for me to ask you to stop doing anything.
[Voice/Private]
He's quiet for a minute or so, his eyes clamped closed, his face lowered from the camera. ]
... Then... I guess until we leave here...
[ ... he doesn't finish that sentence. ]
[Voice/Private]
... There are those who are willing to assist and even attempt to befriend you while you are here. It is your choice whether to accept it or not.
[ Her partially included but she's not going to say that nope. ]
[Voice/Private]
And what if I go back to Aselia, and I remember all of this?
[Voice/Private]
Once again that is up for you to decide. You could throw them away. Embrace them. Hate them. Perhaps even change your perspective on a subject. All of this it up to you and no other.
