None taken, the normal human birthing process always sounded very painful and messy to me.

It makes sense, actually. Sometimes, you find someone who is a lot like a mother to you, even if she isn't really your mother. My brother and I were raised mostly by our Aunt, so she became our mother figure while we were growing up.

From what I see, a lot of people give gifts to their mother and show their mother a little extra love today. Take her out to dinner, make her dinner, give her flowers, spending time with them ... something like that.

There are instances where you can't, I guess.

My mother died when I was a baby. I can't do a lot of those things.
