He doesn't look offended at the offer, honestly. Really it's... kind of a relief. Having to do that himself was likely the most difficult thing he'd ever done and he's really not certain he could do it again should the need ever arise.

It'd be better, as long as it's not gonna be something horrible for you. The last thing I wanna do is scar anyone for life.

[It's just so surreal... Pretty sure normal people don't have to deal with the question of who will kill them if they go on a homicidal rampage.]

[Serph's abrupt manner might put anyone else off but Zelos finds it oddly comforting. He doesn't have to go through the whole song and dance of small talk and banal niceties before broaching a subject or parting ways with him. It's breath of fresh air, to be honest.]
