[Ky knows -- or feels -- that he has to say something about the recent deaths, since it isn't as though he hasn't been trying to talk to the people involved and work out a method of achieving justice. It's just that the parties involved seem very insular and inclined to deal with it with on their own, rather than seeking any actual way out of the cycle of violence.]
It may seem that what we do here only has minimal consequences, but the trauma of death isn't reduced by the fact that we come back, and the burden on our soul isn't diminished simply because we may not remember what happens here.
This place simply gives us more opportunities to do right.
[And with that heavy-handed bit of philosophy, Ky's moving on to the main purpose of addressing Vatheon through his SFC tonight.]
Is anyone here familiar with the process of exorcising demons? If you have any experience or expertise in the matter, I'm greatly interested in discussing it with you.
Obviously if you can't assure the health and well-being of the possessed then I'd still like to hear about it, but it wouldn't be practical.
[He adds that even though the well-being of the possessed is the driving reason behind an exorcism, because Serph had seemed particularly concerned about it, and Ky will admit that he can't necessarily trust the motives of everyone here.]

The person it is possessing described it as a demon, yes, and we've talked about the possibility of removing it. I lack the expertise, which is why we agreed that I would ask other people.
[In other words, back off Zelda.]
Video
[Excuse you, Ky! Serph didn't seem interested in getting rid of his demon! Then again, his demon didn't really have any green on it. Maybe that was what Cielo's demon looked like? They arrived together, it stands to reason that they might share a condition.]
Video
[Ky doesn't think that that will be very helpful, Zelda. In fact, he's pretty close to giving up on this conversation.]
I'll bear in mind the importance of pacifying it when I speak with other people.
[A polite smile.]

That's why I wanted other people's input, as to what would work.
Given that your suggestion is singing to it, I'm not sure how...applicable your expertise is.

[She takes out her harp and plays the Song of Healing. It really does have a magical quality to it, though it's dampened by distance and her current emotional state.]
Day to night, dark to light,
Fall the sands of time.
Let the years like the gears
Of a clock unwind
In your mind walk through time
Back to better days.
Memories, like a dream,
Wash tears away.
Like a star in the sky,
Darkness can't reach you
Light the night, joy is light,
Till the new dawn.
Cast away your old face
Let go of your spite,
With this song I shall
Uncover your light.
Video
It seems more an effect of your own magic than the particular nature of the song.
[At least as far as he understands magic to work on his world, and trying to place her into that framework.]
Video
[Flipping pages and beginning to doodle... now.]
Video
It might be important to determine what...sort of blessing would work.
Video
[Guess what, Ky? She gives no fucks which god blesses the damn thing.]
Video
[He does care, so good choice. Just hopefully her 'runes' aren't anything blasphemous.]
Video
["a blessing from your god" will offend him, won't it?]
...a blessing.
[Ugh. Hopefully it's silver or something easy to work with, at least.]
Video
Does the size of the container need to be the demon in its full form?
Video
Video
[He smiles, business-like and polite, at her.]
I'll do my best.
Video
Please feel free to ask if you have any further questions. My land was besieged by creatures of darkness for seven years, so I do have some experience.

Song does have an effect on demons in the Junkyard.
[So let her speak. CARRY ON, KIDS. SERPH IS WATCHING.]

[How's that for a vague answer?]

[What? No, Zelda's not totally suspicious of Ky or anything.]

It's fine. Thank you.
[For the offer to help.]
