As time went on, she realised it’s not just her appetite being grown. It must be related to the curse and this tattoo on her face.

She appears on the screen. On her right cheek is an Atma mark of a rose with teeth. But she doesn’t know the significance, yet.]

I’m sorry to interrupt, but does anyone know the significance of this mark [points to her cheek] and...hunger?

Atma are demons that increased our ability to fight. In the Junkyard, Atma gave us skills we did not have before, such as the ability to use magic. We cannot feel emotions without our Atma.

Atma gain energy through consuming others. If you do not eat, you will weaken, and eventually lose control of the demon. Once control is lost, you cannot change back. The demon will slaughter and devour until it is killed.

[He pauses here, realizing he doesn't have a means of identifying himself yet. His head tilts this way, and then the other way, and finally straight up as his eyebrows knit together in concentration. Finally, unable to think of anything better, he simply takes a deep breath and barks at the screen.

It sounds a lot more like a human trying to imitate a bark, and frankly even he looks pretty unimpressed at the result (I made that sound?).]
