I know some people are freaking out, but I hope you guys aren't so bad off. 'cause, um, I kind of want your help figuring some stuff out.

There are some things. Stuff that happened over the course of that year mostly.

I really believe none of it is anything out friendship can't overcome, though.

[At least she hopes. With their memory gone it's too early to say; he may not be saying it's not her fault when she does tell him what exactly happened.]

[He's already coming to think of her as a friend again. Not a friend he knows well, certainly not well enough to call her a best friend, but there's some kind of connection there. He can feel it more clearly now. Whatever she's done would have to be pretty awful to ruin that.]
