The Curse - [video/action]

[ For those browsing through the network today, they will be surprised to see a very blue and a very angry bird glaring at them through the screen of the SFC. This bird is no ordinary bird but rather a certain moody demigod who've been transformed into a legendary pokemon. Angrily scratching and clawing at the screen of his SFC like a madmanmad bird, Yasha eventually gives up and flies off.

To where? No one knows, that is until the large blue pokemon comes swooping down into the nearby park. Landing upon a high tree branch, Yasha sits there looking as mad as he can be in this awkward form. Despite how livid he is, Yasha does take the time to preen his feathers. If he's going to be a silly looking blue jay, he might as well be a good looking one.

That's his logic but it's rather difficult to look "good" when there's a constant blizzard floating around you. Considering that the legendary pokemon is a bird with the power of ice; anyone who happens to be sitting around in the park by be caught in the sudden ice storm that formed around Yasha.

Yeah, have fun with that. ]

[Since he'd left the clinic, he's decided to explore this city he's currently stuck within. Thus it is that he manages to actually see the snow storm in the park before he actually notes the bird within it. Considering what he's seen since he arrived here, speaking to the bird and expecting it to answer, while it feels weird, isn't a completely irrational decision.]

Are you responsible for this isolated weather? Is it possible you could tone it down a bit?

[ Still messing around with his feathers, the pokemon turns its head and just pins a nasty glare on Roy. Yasha isn't amused with the soldier's tone.

Not in the slightest.

He decides to make his dislike for Roy known by tossing a few icicles his way. ]

[You're earning some mutual dislike yourself Yasha, at least he manages to get out of the way of the flying ice before it can hit him, but really, he's not in any condition to get involved in any fights. Still, he isn't completely defenseless, though he's not sure how well the alchemy will work here, especially using the make-shift manner he has to make do with until he can hopefully replace his gloves or his gun one.]

I'm not looking for a fight. I was just asking you simple questions that it would be decent of you to answer if you can.

[Still just in case, he pulls the pen he'd gotten earlier out of his pocket, and keeping the majority of his attention on the bird, silently and quickly draws the necessary circle and diagrams on the back of his left hand. His pocket also held a brand new lighter as well.]

[ Mentally cursing himself for allowing his foul temper to get the better of him, Yasha eyes the human in slight remorse. Just because he's been cursed by some foul trickster (yes, you better believe he's blaming Loki's ass for this), doesn't mean he should take his anger out on the innocent. Although, that doesn't mean the demigod isn't the slightest bit interested as of why Roy pulled out that pen and lighter.

Just what sort of tricks does this colonel have up his sleeves?

Yasha is very curious. ]

How can I speak when I possess a beak?

[ If Mustang somehow managed to hear that thought, then he could probably hear the annoyance in Yasha's tone as clear as day. ]

Do not be fooled, mortal. This is not my true form.

[Okay, at least the creature had ceased its efforts to turn him into a pincushion with icicles. Unfortunately it would seem the bird was incapable of actual speech, even if the bird did appear to understand human speech.]

Never mind. I'll just leave you alone, since you were obviously here first.

[Just going to shove the pen into his jacket pocket and turn around to leave now. Since he had no reason to stick around and no desire to spend any more time in this cold weather than he needed to. Both the bird's attitude and the weather reminded him too much of Briggs and the woman in charge of it.]

[Luckily Fai is very well adjusted to cold weather, though the sudden storm is still very surprising. Though seemingly unbothered by it, he continues his stroll through the park. Fai looks up as he notices that the storm is actually caused by a very odd looking bird.]

How interesting! I've never seen a bird make snow before!

[ As soon as Yasha saw the sorcerer nearby, he flew over towards him as fast as he could leaving a trail of snow and ice in he's wake. Landing right in front of Fai, the blue bird begins to flap its' wings wildly as if it was trying to speak to him. ]

Fai! It's you!

[ Yasha sure hopes that Fai can hear him telepathically. ]

I was turned into a...monster!

[Lucky for Fai he has had enough magical ability and perceptiveness to understand. He kneels down in front of the bird and studies him for a moment with a rather quizzical look.]

You know who I am..but why is that?

[ Thank heavens! There's at least someone out there who can still understand him. At this point, the large blue bird finally calms itself and folds its enormous wings against its body. ]

Of course I know you! It is I, Yasha.

[ He let's out a dramatic mental sigh. ]

I do hope you remember me.

[Fai blinks a few times in surprise.]

Yasha-san..I guess you got caught in the curse as well. A lot of people seem to be experiencing some strange changes.

[Yeah, see, Cheren doesn't do good with cold. He hates it, actually. Knowing how Vatheon is, the whole freak blizzard thing isn't too strange to him, but with any luck, there's a cause for it. After looking around a bit (while freezing his ass off and shivering all over the place, thank you), he spots it. And just kind of. Stares. Because that's a legendary Pokemon, and those are naturally rare as hell.

...of course, then he comes to his senses and pulls out his Pokedex to register Articuno, but he's still staring. it's not every day you see a legendary, after all.]

[ Finally satisfied by how smooth his feathers are now, Yasha turns and notices some awkward lad staring at him. Immediately getting into a staring contest with the youth, the former demigod turned pokemon suddenly leaps down from the tree branch and flies at Cheren. ]

You there!

[ He's trying to speak to the boy telepathically. ]

Can you understand me? Can you?!

[Okay, he didn't expect the legendary bird to fly at him, so when it actually did, Cheren kind of freaked out. Just a bit. Ducking to the side, he reached for a Pokeball, and called out Liepard, since well, if the Articuno was going to fight, he wasn't just going to stand there. Or at least, he was prepared for that until he heard a voice in his head. A voice that was decidedly different from his own.]

[ Yasha was just about to land right before Cheren, until the boy summoned forth some kind of creature to battle him. ]

Huh? What is this thing?

[ The bird stares at the smaller creature with a somewhat baffled gaze in its eyes. ]

Do you mean to do me harm with that..."pet" of yours?

[He's still kind of piecing things together at the moment, just give him a second. Pokemon don't usually talk, especially not like this, okay.]

...Is that you? And well, you attacked first! It's a natural reflex for a Trainer to call out one of their own Pokemon when a wild Pokemon attacks!

[If he was going to live here, he might as well get acquainted with the area. Today, Tidus decided he'd check out the park.

Apparently, he picked a good day to go. He shivers, curling into himself a little, as he looks for the source of the blizzard. Current form or not, he hated the cold. It reminded him of being cold.]

C-cold...

[ Yasha was so busy lamenting over his new form that he almost missed the tiger that wandered by. Blinking his eyes a few times in disbelief, Yasha suddenly hopped down from the branch and flew over to Tidus. Unfortunately, the closer he came the colder it got for the boy. ]

You there, tiger! Can you hear me?

[ He's trying to speak to the boy telepathically. ]

I need your assistance!

[Whoa sudden voice in his head not good. Last time someone was in his head, so to speak, it didn't turn out in his favor. He jumps, shivering more violently as he looks around.]

[ Now standing right in front of the tiger, Yasha leans over and tries to peck the youth with his beak. ]

Can't you see me, child? I'm right here.

[He swats at the weird large bird/legendary pokemon, fur bristling.]

I can see you. Are you cursed?

[Amane blinks when she see the video. That's a large blue bird. She don't recognise it as a demon, so some other creature?]

I take it you changed because of this curse?

[ Yasha was just about to fly off angrily into the sunset until some girl appeared on the screen. ]

YES!

[ He's trying to speak with telepathically while he's squawking about like a maniac. ]

That must've been what happened, now change me back!

[Unfortunately, while Amane normally can hear the voices of supernatural beings, that might not be well-conveyed over the network.]

[ Face meets palm or rather beak meets talons once the bird let out an exasperated sigh. Why must he be cursed so terribly today? Is there no end to his constant humiliation?

Deciding to take up pen and ink, Yasha starts to write out a lengthy message for the girl to see. ]

चान यौ हेल्प मे? इ'म इन दिरे नीद ओफ़् अस्सिस्तन्चे. इ'वे बीन तुर्णेद इन्तो अ फ़ौल् बेअस्त ब्य बलचक् मगिक्. इ क्नोव् नोत ओफ़् होव् तो ब्रेअक थिस चुर्से. ईफ़् यौ चान हेल्प मे इन अन्य पोस्सिब्ले वय्, इ विल्ल रेवर्द यौ इन योउर एफ़्फ़ोर्त्स.

[ While this may have seemed like a good idea at first, it hasn't dawned on Yasha yet that the written language of his realm differs heavily from the common language of this one. While the spoken tongue here was much like his own, the written aspect is quite different. ]

[She just look confused at the writing. Unfortunately, she can't read that language. Remiel, who have the gift of tongues, isn't with her to translate the message for her.
