anonymous text; and here comes a flood
[The moment the curse ended, the scent of a large amount of darkness can be picked up by anyone sensitive. It lingered close to the residential area before winding up in the plaza. If anyone was curious to follow their nose, they will find him perched on top of a building.
He wasn’t the only thing hanging around though. A few of his Floods were scuttling across the plaza to attack anyone who crosses their paths.]
If someone were to take something that belongs to you, would you take it back?
[//Filtered From Terra//]
Does the name Ventus ring any bells for you losers? What about Xehanort?

hey no you're supposed to do that at the END of the first date
The new enemies are smaller than what he's used to dealing with, but again, not really troublesome for him. Serph isn't fond of fire -- #ice aligned problems -- so he takes them out first by punching most of them out of the air. As for the clawed ones... they're quick, but they lack coordination with the rest of the mob. Serph's efficient, ruthlessly so. More than one is kicked over and has its neck crushed under his foot while still on the ground. But he doesn't use his spells or the blades in his arms. Not yet, anyway. These creatures wouldn't last a minute in the Junkyard.
He now knows the source of these creatures, but honestly what's on Serph's mind is "Why"? While he casually finishes off the last creature, he calmly calls out to the person on the building.]
If you desire a fight, then let's take it elsewhere.
Can't tame this /o/
Want a Mandrake, or the Iron Prisoner instead? He could even toss in a tree Unversed that princesses love to walk in to. Those would be load of fun, but Vanitas was done with creating critters for the moment. He stood up as he acted like he was actually considering it.
Then he created a portal to step through. Its counterpart appeared down at the plaza. Communicating from a distance was a waste of energy.]
I don’t feel like relocating. If people get hurt [There was a shrug as he sauntered over to a large bit of coral dividing sidewalk and flower bed.]

Well, he's glad the guy isn't creating more of the creatures, so now that the immediate threat is gone, he's curious about the stranger. Serph moves to fall into step beside him -- easy to do when he's taller than this shorty. He stays transformed, though.
He finishes the sentence.]
It doesn't matter to you?
[There's questioning in his voice, but no judgement or incredulity.]

He is still a growing boy! Serph was just freakishly tall. If Vanitas was wary or concerned by the demon walking beside him, it wasn’t shown from his body language.
This one was a bit peculiar. No big hero speech. No surprise. Nothing.]
Never have and never will. [That and it served as a way to draw out the great keyblade heroes.]

Serph tilts his head. Never seems like a bold statement.]
Why?
no subject
Because Ventus had all of the sappy sentiment and Vanitas was willing to do anything to get what he wanted.]
Why is it any of your business? [He sounded like he was asking about the weather.]
no subject
Serph answers in an equally even tone.]
I wish to know more about you.
[Because perhaps he will be a friend.]

Finally he does falter to give as much of a look as he can with a helmet over his head.
And then he starts laughing.
Really, what is the deal with this guy?]
Ask one of the heroes from my world. [Like the mouse or the guy with the stupid pants.]
no subject
I will.
[Eventually. If he actually knew who was from his world, anyway.]
But I wish to hear from you first.

[Opening a portal again. Time to flee. As interesting as it was that someone actually was curious about him without hurting him, he still had answers to acquire.]
I have a date already. [With a Mouse and some other keyblade users.
And no goodbyes or anything. Just sauntering right on through that portal. Ciao~]

A strange person, but not unpleasant. Serph makes a mental note to talk to him again before he leaves the area.]
