[Johnny can be seen leaning against the bar in his tavern, grinning like a kid on Christmas day.]

Heeelllo, everyone~ Due to recent events, Fai and I kinda went bake-crazy.

[He pans the SFC around to show the rest of the counter and a few select tables covered in almost every kind of dessert imaginable.]

There's no way we can eat this all by ourselves, nor do I think we really want to~ Any volunteers for helping us~? Feel free to just come on by and grab some for yourself, a loved one, a special occasion, whatever~ we just need it gone.

Oh! Crow~ley~! I made something special for you, so be sure to come by and get it~~

Vampire or not, baking time would still take a while... [He shakes his head in disbelief.] I'll be right over to see this treat of yours, and take a few things home myself.

[And with that he's walking over to Johnny's tavern, pushing open the door and-- goodness it smelled fantastic in there.]

[Johnny smelled the angel as soon as he stepped through the door, albeit, not as well with the scent of sugar so heavy in the air.]

Aaaziii~

[He finished arranging what he was tending to and waved at his friend before sauntering between the tables to get to the door.]

Hello, Azi~ How are you~?

[Aziraphale straightens his tie and his pulls off his jacket as he steps into the little tavern, the scent of baking hitting him the moment he walks through the door.]

I'm doing fine, thank you. [He's straightening his glasses in astonishment.] My goodness, you've really gone all out with this little baking spree of yours... I'd honestly wondered if what I'd seen over the network was reality.

You wouldn't, erm, have any devil's food cake by any chance?? [He adored chocolate.]

[The vampire scans the tables until he finally finds what he's looking for and leads Azi to the right table.]

Right here, have as much as you want~

Oh... I shouldn't have too much, I'm pretty sure gluttony is still a deadly sin, even in a place like this...

[He is going to happily take a slice or two, however, to take with him back to his apartment.]

Oh, right, you said there was a surprise for Crowley?? I'd love to see what it is.

Aaah~ Too true~~

Oh, right.

[Johnny motioned for Aziraphale to follow him to the counter where a cake was set aside from everything else.]

This is what I got him~ He'll hate it, hmm~?

[Aziraphale is staring at it in awe.]

Goodness, that looks fantastic! I'm not sure why in the world he would hate it, it seems delicious! He might not say he appreciates it, but I'm sure he absolutely would! [Aziraphale's still a little ignorant to your relationship with Crowley, Johnny.]

[Johnny smiles, though it's got a tinge of melancholy to it.]

Aah~ Thank you, Azi~ I appreciate that. Unfortunately, it could be the best thing he's ever tasted and he'd find some way to dismiss it~ I'm afraid he doesn't like anything I do.

[Except makeouts, but he won't scar the angel just yet.]

[Aziraphale gives a shrug, as if this doesn't surprise him in the slightest. Which it really doesn't.]

Crowley... tends to be that way. I'm honestly surprised he's got friends aside from me at all. [Yes, Johnny, he thinks you're friends, poor naive little angel.] With Crowley it's all about favors, not gifts. Do him a favor and he'll pay you back, and expect you to pay him back for that, and so on. That's how I've kept a relationship with him for the past 6,000 years, anyway. [The angel grabs a spare pastry and begins to nibble on it while he looks over the cake with awe.]

Hmmm...[He reaches for a brownie and munches on that as he thinks.]

Honestly, if I tried that at this point, I think he'd just accuse me of being cursed or being sick or something.

[And now he glances over to the angel.] You know, though, I think he values your presence more than he lets on.

There was a change in him when you arrived.

I shouldn't think that would be an excuse not to try an act of kindness. Even if he is surprised by it at first, it could be a step forward in strengthening your friendship.

[Aziraphale nibbles some more, thinking about that with knitted brows.]

I should say that surprises me... but honestly, we've relied on one another for so very long that it makes a certain amount of sense. Really, it's hard to imagine a life without him around to make things... well, exciting.

Not that we verbally acknowledge this, but I believe there's an unspoken understanding between us.
