Heeelllo, everyone~ Due to recent events, Fai and I kinda went bake-crazy.

[He pans the SFC around to show the rest of the counter and a few select tables covered in almost every kind of dessert imaginable.]

There's no way we can eat this all by ourselves, nor do I think we really want to~ Any volunteers for helping us~? Feel free to just come on by and grab some for yourself, a loved one, a special occasion, whatever~ we just need it gone.

Hmm? It's not rude, I don't consider that a secret here. What can I help you with?

I've been in the bubble for four months now, but a few hours before I was taken from my home reality I died. I rose up as something my culture calls a rainbow drinker. There was a human medic here who helped me understand what this meant for me, he said I was similar to what he believed to be a mythological creature called a vampire. The medic has since been returned to his reality, and I've been struggling to understand this condition.

Do you drink blood?

Oh...I'm sorry.

Yeah, I drink blood. I can eat other things, normal things, but only blood keeps me alive and healthy.

Bloodlust I believe is what you're thinking of. And, yes, either that or I collapse, depends on if I'm around people or not.

I've... come close. I've done things I regret, and were not entirely in my control. So far I've avoided anything too violent, and managed to get some blood before I got too far. The Medic was providing me with bottled blood, but it was not entirely effective in preventing the bloodlust.

It never does. 'Packaged' blood is still stale as long as it's not fresh from a body, and you can never get the proper nutrients from it.

Listen, I'm sure drinking from a live source isn't the most appealing, but you can drink from me, if you'd like. It'll allow you to get the food you need without hurting strangers or people you love. Additionally, I'm a True Blood vampire, you'll get more energy longer from my blood than you would from humans.

I... might be willing to accept that offer. I have a few friends that have already promised to help me avoid the bloodlust but if your blood will be more effective... then that might be the best option. If it works like that. I'm not exactly the same as a vampire in every respect.

And if that's how you would rather handle it, that's fine, but it's worth giving it a try once, yes? If my blood doesn't do anything more for you than another's, then you can choose whatever 'prey' you'd rather have.

If your blood is more effective, then that seems like a good idea. At the very least we can try it out. My only concerns really come from the differences in our conditions, and any unforeseen side effects of such an interaction.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you normally find sustenance here?

I tried using the bloodpacks they offer here, but they don't work for me, not very well at least. They sustained me for a little while but I just got sick. They might work for you, should you ever need blood and I'm not around, I don't know.

Now..I have a friend who forces me to drink from him, not much, but enough to allow me to sustain the other vampires here who I give blood.

[And he hates every second of it.]

Is your friend... Has he suffered any ill effects from this? I have a few friends of my own that have offered to do the same for me, but I've been a bit worried about using them like that.

Hmmm....not that he's shown just yet...or told me about, I suppose. He gets light-headed, dizzy, and tired from blood-loss...but that seems to be it.

However, I am not the kind of vampire that bites a person and turns them...I would be cautious if you're uncertain if you are.

That is not a concern at least. When I first changed I had bit a friend before I knew what was happening. She did not show any ill effects, but I was dragged here an hour of two after that. I fed on two people here without any effect, but neither experience was repeated. I do not have reason to believe that I need to worry about that possibility. I cannot eat food or drink anything but blood, and I seem to be energized by sunlight. I seem to have increased stamina, strength, and speed. There may be more to my condition but I have not yet discovered everything about it I think.

If you have a friend you feel comfortable going to for meals, then that might work for you. If not, however, I am more than willing to offer.

I think we should first establish that this will be a viable option, given our differences. I would not want to ask for your help in an emergency only to find that it is ineffective for my needs. Beyond that... I would like to avoid putting my friends through this if I can.

I can understand that perfectly.

Of course, anywhere that you would feel most comfortable.
