Accidental Video
[ The last thing William remembers is dodging a running tackle from his subordinate, Grell Sutcliff. A tackle that would have had him falling off the side of a life boat and into the frigged water it floated in, if he hadn't dodged. But he did dodge, so why in the name of DEATH is he currently soaking wet? ]
Ronald Knox, this is not a game. We are here on assignment. Honestly.
[ Because his other co-worker, Ronald, must have pushed him over board while he was busy dodging Grell, right? It's the only logical answer since "mysteriously appearing in a giant underwater city" is just absurd.
Well, luckily for William, his SFC appeared just as mysteriously at his feet. And somehow managed to start recording all on its own, fancy that! So, go on and take in the lovely sight of a drenched and grumpy reaper who's trying, in vain, to comb his hair back into place. Because, once he realizes his not in London anymore, he'll want some answers. ]

voice;
I'm afraid Mister Knox has yet to make an appearance in this city. However, it seems even one such as you has yet to have been rendered immune to this entire fiasco.

Where are you? Honestly, there is no point in hiding. I was already fully aware that you were on that ship. Unfortunately.
[ Visible or not, William knows Sebs is here somewhere, so he's going to continue to threaten the scenery with his scythe until he shows himself! ]
voice;
Such a low opinion of me. Hiding. And here I'd thought you a far more observant creature to notice any change in surroundings. Would I be correct to assume that the last thing you recall would be the Campania sinking?

[ William finally notices the SFC when he nearly steps on it. He picks it up, glowering at the smirking face on the screen. ]
Yes. And I am positive that I did not sink along with it.
And what is this device? How are you watching me through it?
and now you witness my horrendous tagging speed~!
[ And he does seem quite interested, mulling this fact over for a while. After all, it's been months since the Campania for him and yet for William, mere minutes. ]
This device is called the SFC, as we've gathered. It serves as primary communication here. Were you to take a good look around, Mister-- Spears, if I recall your name was, you'll find we aren't in London any longer. This is Vatheon, an underwater city.
not too terribly bad, really :)
8D I've had slower.
Punctuality, Faust. William expects it.
Having Ronnie in the headspace ensures against it.
No excuses.
>: But.
No.
Does delay on account of sick leave count?
Good evening sir. This is not a game, I'm afraid. Or at least not for us anyway.

Someone thinks it is, apparently.
no subject
I wish I had the answer for that. By the way, sir, you might want to take a look at the device lying somewhere near you.
no subject
I apologize. I have never seen a device like this.
[ Come to think of it... he's never seen this place before. ]
Perhaps you can explain what exactly is going on, Mr...

I beg to differ, Mister Spears.
[ Ciel sounds bored, if anything, as he rests his chin in one palm, visible eye regarding the reaper rather flatly. ]
You are far from your assignment, whatever it may be.

I can only assume you and that pet dog of yours have something to do with this.
no subject
[ is his simple reply. ]
I would suggest that you should take more careful consideration of your surroundings before you accuse me of anything.
no subject
Considering you and that wretched demon are constantly causing me to work overtime, it was an entirely plausible assumption.

Video;
Oh--
Sorry, I don't think you're home anymore.

[ He gives a none-too-polite sounding huff before he catches himself, and adjusts his glasses. ]
I apologize. I am still attempting to understand precisely what is going on.

Though it is nice to see you again after these past months.

[ Stubborn as ever. But, oh yeah, housing costs money... ]
After I find a job, of course.
[ And an interview requires professional dress that isn't soaking wet. ]
And a new suit.
[ Huff. ]
Fine. What are your suggestions, then?

[Action], sorry for the late. HI!
Hello, sir. I don't suppose anyone has explained where you are just yet?
No problem at all!
I have received a few vague answers.

My name is Zelda. I work with the Welcoming Committee here in Vatheon. If you would like a more in-depth explanation, I would be happy to provide it. We also have facilities if you'd like to get cleaned up first.
[This man seems... quite prim, after all.]

[ He pushes another dripping lock of hair from his eyes. ]
I would greatly appreciate both, thank you.
