Accidental Video
[ The last thing William remembers is dodging a running tackle from his subordinate, Grell Sutcliff. A tackle that would have had him falling off the side of a life boat and into the frigged water it floated in, if he hadn't dodged. But he did dodge, so why in the name of DEATH is he currently soaking wet? ]
Ronald Knox, this is not a game. We are here on assignment. Honestly.
[ Because his other co-worker, Ronald, must have pushed him over board while he was busy dodging Grell, right? It's the only logical answer since "mysteriously appearing in a giant underwater city" is just absurd.
Well, luckily for William, his SFC appeared just as mysteriously at his feet. And somehow managed to start recording all on its own, fancy that! So, go on and take in the lovely sight of a drenched and grumpy reaper who's trying, in vain, to comb his hair back into place. Because, once he realizes his not in London anymore, he'll want some answers. ]

Where are you? Honestly, there is no point in hiding. I was already fully aware that you were on that ship. Unfortunately.
[ Visible or not, William knows Sebs is here somewhere, so he's going to continue to threaten the scenery with his scythe until he shows himself! ]
voice;
Such a low opinion of me. Hiding. And here I'd thought you a far more observant creature to notice any change in surroundings. Would I be correct to assume that the last thing you recall would be the Campania sinking?

[ William finally notices the SFC when he nearly steps on it. He picks it up, glowering at the smirking face on the screen. ]
Yes. And I am positive that I did not sink along with it.
And what is this device? How are you watching me through it?
and now you witness my horrendous tagging speed~!
[ And he does seem quite interested, mulling this fact over for a while. After all, it's been months since the Campania for him and yet for William, mere minutes. ]
This device is called the SFC, as we've gathered. It serves as primary communication here. Were you to take a good look around, Mister-- Spears, if I recall your name was, you'll find we aren't in London any longer. This is Vatheon, an underwater city.
not too terribly bad, really :)
And is there any particular reason why I have arrived here? This is absurdly inconvenient.
8D I've had slower.
I'm afraid none of us have any answer pertaining to the who's and why's of our being brought here, much less the how's.
[ He's not exactly pleased having another reaper within the city, really. ]
Punctuality, Faust. William expects it.
[ William really needs to find some new clothes, or get his current ones to the cleaners. There's quite a bit of huffing to be heard as he attempts to wring out his tie. ]
Honestly...
Having Ronnie in the headspace ensures against it.
Perhaps this news would be easier to swallow from the lips of your subordinate...? I assure you it certainly wouldn't change no matter who delivers it.
No excuses.
[ Please say Alan. Please say Alan. ]
>: But.
Sutcliffe, I'm afraid. Much to our mutual chagrin.
No.
How much trouble has he caused already?
Does delay on account of sick leave count?
He's been rather well behaved, if I do say so myself. Rather, nothing my master nor I find ourselves needing to worry about. That would be the only reason he would concern us, after all.
[ But you can practically hear that condescending smirk in his voice. ]
However, now that you're here, I trust I shan't hear hide nor hair of him?
