[So after talking to Lloyd and hearing a similar thing from a few other people, Ruca has been wondering...]
Is it... really so weird to miss school and homework?
[he asks hoping that maybe someone out there might understand him.
it doesn't take him long to answer his own question.]
I guess it is...

[Sola's own childhood memories include programming for battle from his master, and the fragmented ones he'd inherited from his original are full of wild days in the forest and difficult temples. He has absolutely no concept of a formal education.]

But how do you explain what it is?...]
...Um, well, school is... a place where you study under the directions of the teachers. You have to go there almost every day, except weekends and vacation, and the teachers give you homework or assignments. They also make tests sometimes... um...
[is that enough of an explanation?]

Or... well Link did that but I remember it.

A test is... basically it's a set of question that teachers give you to test your knowledge.

[Good thing this isn't a video feed, because she definitely LOOKS as bummed out as she sounds.]

[You have no idea how glad he is to hear that!]

He nods!]
I know what you mean.

[And he does miss it. The ever-growing stack of nonfiction books in his bedroom being the clearest indicator.]
It's kind of a drag when you're forced to do it all the time, but I miss it, too.
voice;
I think... it's a little boring without school.
[but, well, to him studying is fun, so...]

[Likewise, it's nice to know that there are other people who appreciate more intellectual pursuits. People besides Bulma, who appreciates them, but also because it makes her superior.]
Did you go to a real school?
[Because he mainly studied by himself or through correspondence courses. He's never been in a class with peers his own age.]

Weird, no. Unfortunately, many think skipping school is perfectly acceptable.

[which only proves that majority of people does not like school.]

[ Yukiteru pauses. As if considering the question for a moment. ]
But I guess being in another world might do that to someone. [ Then again, maybe school would be better than dealing with half of these weirdos. ]
voice;
...I think it would be nice if there was a school here, though.
[of course, if someone wouldn't want to go there, they didn't have to, but Ruca misses school, tests and homework...]
voice;
Not everyone is as motivated to do school when they don't have to. Do you like it that much?
