What's school?

[Sola's own childhood memories include programming for battle from his master, and the fragmented ones he'd inherited from his original are full of wild days in the forest and difficult temples. He has absolutely no concept of a formal education.]

...Um, well, school is... a place where you study under the directions of the teachers. You have to go there almost every day, except weekends and vacation, and the teachers give you homework or assignments. They also make tests sometimes... um...

That doesn't really explain anything. What's homework? I don't know what assignments or tests are either. Is a test like a trial you have to go through on a quest? Because I've done that!

Uh... not quite. Homework is something you need to do at home... It can be writing on a certain subject or doing calculations... things like that.

A test is... basically it's a set of question that teachers give you to test your knowledge.

Ahaha, no, not at all! It's been such a long time since I've done anything remotely academic I'm starting to forget the nervous excitement feeling you get when you're waiting for your exam scores.

It's kind of a drag when you're forced to do it all the time, but I miss it, too.

I miss it as well, though I only had a tutor at home... I'm quite certain I missed out on a lot. It's unfortunate there isn't a school in Vatheon.
