One can't help but be reminded of Sleeping Beauty.

If I may inquire, Vatheon. How common are these... sleeping spells? I've fallen into one rather recently and much to my surprise, so has my young master. No attempt to wake him seems to come to fruition which has led me to wonder if this is something due to the city entirely.

[ And a sigh as he dusts his hands. ]

I suppose this means I have a bit of free time on my hands.

[ Another frown comes to his brow however. Because the concept of a day off is rather novel to him, truth be told. Now that he doesn't have to prepare any meals or balance any books. ]

What indeed could one do on a day off?

Uuuh... about a month. ... no wait-- ... yeah, sorry. A month.

This seems to be a common factor: These little spells lasting at the very most a month, the very least several days.

Friend of mine has been in one for a coupla weeks now. He'll probably hit a month too, the way he's goin'...

Pisses me off that we don't got more control over that...

It seems we have less and less control of ourselves than what we were originally lead to believe. These curses and this sleep spell...

As it may have control over how and why we were brought here, it certainly would be no surprise it has the ability to put us to sleep as it wills.
