If I may inquire, Vatheon. How common are these... sleeping spells? I've fallen into one rather recently and much to my surprise, so has my young master. No attempt to wake him seems to come to fruition which has led me to wonder if this is something due to the city entirely.

[ And a sigh as he dusts his hands. ]

I suppose this means I have a bit of free time on my hands.

[ Another frown comes to his brow however. Because the concept of a day off is rather novel to him, truth be told. Now that he doesn't have to prepare any meals or balance any books. ]

What indeed could one do on a day off?

I think I heard of Paradise Lost before.

I quite like reading the Man'yōshū and the Tale of Genji. [If it's not supernatural things, it's Japanese literature.]

It was a recollection of the fall. Lucifer's fall. While the prose was rather pleasant, I must say the tale itself is rather lacking.

[ He'll keep it at that though and press on. ]

The Tale of Genji... I recall Doctor Muraki recommending such a title to my master.

It's a good read, although I find it incomplete despite its length.

I would highly recommend it if you find yourself fond of poetry. There are some rather choice verses in the piece.
