Skulls and Candy 001 [Video/Action]

[Shaking the excess water from her hair, the little pink haired girl notices her brand new communication device. Picking it up, she examines the device for a few seconds which includes turning it around and upside down. Once she finishes her little inspection, she smiles rather cheerfully]

Oh, its a communication thingie! It's almost as pretty as the one I have back home. [A pensive look appears on her face before she brings the SFC close and licks it....Making a face, she pouts and lowers the device]

Bleh! It's doesn't taste as nice as mine. [A beat] Oh, it's recording!

Hiii! I'm Yachiru Kusajishi. Why did we have to take a bath when we came into this strange place? I already took a bath this morning! Why are the fishies able to swim really high above us? Oh yeah, has any seen my Ken-chan? He's really big and strong, but gets lost if I'm not with him.

Food... Housing... And indeed, toys and candy too. Only special things have a cost. I think that those are the things that can't be found in Vatheon, the ones that have cost, I mean.

[He nods.] It's what I have heard.

By the way, Kusajishi-san, you ought to find yourself some lodging. [Preferably with an adult.]

[Oh yeah, she had forgotten about that. She wonders if there are any barracks around or maybe those motel places like in the Living world]

You're right, Tsumi-kun. Are any barrack or those motel places here? [Those places have adults don't they? It doesn't matter to her as long as there is food]

Well, we don't exactly barracks or... Wait, what? Motels! [Have a shocked Tatsumi staring at you.]

A young girl shouldn't go and live in a motel! [Who knows what she will get to see in there! Those are NOT the kind of adults you want to be around, Yachiru-chan.]

There are plenty of apartments and houses in the city.

[She blinks. B-But, she's seen worse! Besides, she lived on the street, with Kenpachi though, for a while and now lives in a barrack full of rowdy thug-like men ]

[Pouts] But, I like motels. Oh, okay! Ne, where are some clothes here. My tabi are all wet.

[He sighs. What a strange kid.] You should find some stores in the Middle District. Your SFC has a map of the city. But if you need assistance, I could come and pick you up.

[It's a shinigami thing. In her world, most of them are strange to begin with]

Umm, I think that's good. This place is really big. I think its bigger than home.

[He nods.] The city is indeed big. What can you see around you, Kusajishi-san? [So that he can easily locate her.]

[She looks around] I see lots of shops and a really big fountain! Oooh, there is a stand for food.

Alright, I shall be there in a moment. Don't move, please.

[A beat] Okay! [There is the sound of food being eaten]

[He arrives to where she is not very long later. Not to mention he is glad to see she's still there.]

Kusajishi-san?

[Taking a bite from her shikebob, she skips on over. The wheels attached to her sword scabbard squeaking, but stop a few seconds later. Stopping in front of him, she gives him a little wave]

Hi Tsumi-kun!

[He looks down at the girl in front of him. She is indeed tiny.]

Good evening, Kusajishi-san. [Bows.] So, clothes you asked?

[Bouncing on the balls of her feet, she nods]

Uhuh, my tabi sound squishy and my zori are slippin'.

Yes, it is usually like this for everyone who just arrives here. Shall you follow me, then?

Okay! [She finishes the last of her food in one bite and throws out the stick into a nearby trash can. Wiping her hands on her wet pants, she turns to face him]

I'll follow Tsumi.

[He's starting to get used to the nickname... But anyway, he guides her to the middle district. He has to remember she's a child, to make sure to keep at a pace she can easily follow.

He has brought her to a clothes store for girls. It's really too pink for him to want to go inside though.]

[Don't worry. Kenpachi tends to do the same, but it's more over the frilly "shit" than the pink]

Thank you, Tsumi! [Manners, she has some!] Ne, will the shop people say anything if I bring in my sword?

You're welcome, Kusajishi-san. About the sword... I don't know... Maybe you can ask them.

Okay, I'll go ask. [She walks into the store to ask the clerk. Nearly twenty minutes later, asking a question shouldn't take this long, she comes out wearing something different]

They said it was okay, but they had to hold it til I finished shoppin! Look, isn't my new shirt pretty? [She shows off her lavender shirt decorated with flowers and the number 11]

[Tatsumi is not used to dealing with children.]

Uh... Yes, it's a cute shirt.

[Don't worry. She is used to adults who are not used to dealing with children]

Ne, Tsumi-kun. [A small tug to his pant leg] Where are the places to sleep? Cuz, I promise the shoppy lady to come back later for the other stuff.

[He looks down at her.]

Well, there's places all over the city. Are you sure there isn't an adult you know around here?
