Well... now that things seem to be back to normal, I would like to inform everyone that I am very much not dead, and to anyone who thought that this "plague" was going to be the end of us that were ill...

Hey, being sick is pretty scary! Or at least uncomfortable for the sick people.

Uncomfortable, yes, but unless the prognosis is actually fatal than there's nothing to be concerned about. And considering the worst of the symptoms for anyone was a bit of itchy skin and a lot of coughing, I'm fairly certain no one has perished.

Perhaps that those who were worried aren't use to getting sick...maybe that's why.

I'm certain a simple check up with a doctor would have determined that it was nothing more than an annoying cold.

You can't blame them if they're scared or worried.

Besides, being trapped in a new world where they don't know anyone, they probably don't know a doctor here. They might not even trust them.

There are times when even the most cowardly have to face their fears and do what's best for them.

Even if it means worrying that the doctors might harm them in the process?

Why would a doctor ever harm some one? That goes against their very purpose.

Perhaps they have some previous experience with a doctor that wasn't so kind to them.

Maybe that's why they're so scared to trust someone like that.

The latter.

I'm trying saying that they have their own reasons for not doing anything when they were sick. I don't know why or what it is but ...it seems to be better than simply trusting others.

Well in that case, I can understand not doing anything, but to roll about and whine in agony for all the world to hear is a little much, don't you think? They were being over dramatic and it was quite annoying when I was in much the same state.

All of them were?

Many were. I didn't properly count how many residents were ill and actually on the network complaining. But even one was enough to irritate me when I was feeling so poorly!
