[Tech is sitting in his apartment, which is significantly more lit up than the last time he was here. The basis of a project appears to be on the table in front of him, but the angle of the SFC obscures most of it.]

I’ll keep this short. Since arriving, I’ve noticed minor fluctuations in the glow put off by the coral in the plaza. No changes really worth taking notice of. But, recently it appears to be especially bright—at least compared to what I’ve seen in my time here—and it only appears to be getting brighter.

Is that normal behavior?

In any case, I believe it’s something worth monitoring. I think I can probably rig a device for that.

Yeah, you'd think. But it looks like most of the recruits prefer to go where the action is, so to speak. Anyway, it's not exactly up to me. But I can point you in the right direction.
