[Rin looks surprisingly tired as he comes on the network this afternoon. He tries to smile, but it does little for how he appears right now.]

Hey uh... so about the other day when I was screamin' about my stuff gettin' stolen...

[There's a bit of a drawn out pause, and he actually bows his head a little.]

'msorry. I need to be better 'bout flippin' out like that. I upset a lotta people and... well... I actually have friends here so I better try to keep 'em and not act like such an ass, yeah?

[He clears his throat awkwardly and straightens, shifting uncomfortably in his seat as he glances away.]

Speaking of friends... uhm... I'unno if any of you who know Shing or Kohaku know but... Shing kinda--...

Well he went away for a while and we dunno when he's comin' back. He's still IN Vatheon just... hidin'. Somewhere.

I've been lookin' after her for the past coupla days but... she's not really sleepin' or eatin' unless I make her and... well uh. Guess what I'm sayin' is I need some help. I have work and I can't be there all the time, even if I wanna be. Maka suggested maybe takin' shifts lookin' after her, if anyone would be able to?

It can be, yeah. I've got my limits, sure, but it's nice to be able to take a beatin' and still get up from it at the end.

No, demons don't like exorcists. And I'm both. Well, trainin' to be an exorcist. The demon thing is just kinda there...

... sorta. Demons aren't actually supposed to get in to my world, remember? They have to posses people or other animals. Unless they're half like me.

[They did talk about it a little when Roxas visited him, but it's been a while and Rin probably wasn't all that clear.]

Basically exorcists get rid of demons, usually by killin' em. I'm part demon, but I'm also trainin' to be an exorcist.

[Rin would have been clear enough if a) Roxas knew what exorcists were before now and b) Roxas thought demons were bad.]
