Skulls and Candy 002 [Video]

[Yachiru looks a little sleepy and somewhat grumpy after her coma induced nap. Though, her grumpy mood could be attributed to sleeping too long or simply sleeping away anything fun. ]

I do not think I like this place. First, Vatheon took all my left shoes. Now, it made me take a REALLY long nap when I wasn't sleepy. I probably missed a bunch of really fun things.

You were right! All my shoes came back. It's still dumb that they took my shoes.

I am fine! Um, I guess I am a little hungry cuz I've been asleep for a really long time. [She blinks and thinks over what this lady said] I don't know. I felt okay when I was putting away my toys when I fell asleep.

[And Angelina disapproves of this.]

A long time? That is certainly odd. Maybe you should come over to the clinic for a checkup.

Yeah, I was asleep for a week! There is a clinic here? Is the healer person there nice?

[A small pause]

Do they have needles?

[Yachiru isn't afraid of needles, but she's not exactly fond of them]

That certainly is a long time for being asleep. [Could it be that this child fell into some kind of coma? But seems so lively...]

Yes, there is a clinic here. And I believe the doctors there are nice, at least Dr. Muraki and Dr. Riff have been nice to me so far. And I am one myself.

You need not worry about the needles. It could be that you will not need them.

[If the lady talking to her was a doctor, then she wouldn't mind going to get a check up, even though she felt okay. The lady seemed really nice and kind which reminded her a little of Re-chan]

[She nods.]

Yes, of course. Just come to the clinic and ask for Dr. Durless. [Smiles.] And thank you for the compliments.

Okay, I will!

[Oops, Yachiru forgot one important detail]

Um, where's the clinic?

The clinic is near the park. If you have trouble finding it, I can come to pick you up. [After all, she is a child.]

[She was at the park a few days ago, but didn't see it. Then again, she was busy at the time]

I didn't see it when I went there before...So, can you show me where it is?

Of course, where do you live? And what is your name, young lady?

I live in the Viscus apartments on the 1st floor. Oh, I'm in room...four! I'm Yachiru Kusajishi. Nice to meet you, Pretty Doctor!

Okay! You can knock on the door when you get here, Lady Lina.

[She chuckles a bit and nods, before turning off the feed and heading her way.]

[While waiting for Madame Red to arrive, Yachiru goes to play with the few toys that she never managed to put away before the coma. She is happily re-enacting a rather brutal fight with the use of a cat doll and a stuffed bunny ]

[Not long later, she knocks at her door.]

Miss Yachiru? Are you home?

Rwar! I'll end you, bas-

[At the sound of knocking, Yachiru drops her toys "mid-battle" and goes to open the door. Opening the door, she sees Madame Red in person and gives the woman a big smile]

Hi Lady Lina.

[Oh, she has a new nickname!]

Good afternoon, young lady. [Shows her her shiny doctor's bag.]

We won't have to go to the clinic after all, though I can show you if you want.

[Oooh, shiny bag!]

You don't have to call me young lady, but Yachiru. [Besides, whenever someone addresses her as 'young lady' it means that either she is in trouble or she has to stay around to hear a long boring lecture]

It's okay. I can look for it later when I go out.

[Guess what? It's red!]

Thank you, Miss Yachiru. Or just Yachiru? [She is a noble, so she only calls by first name basis her sister and nephew. And the servants.]

Alright then. Take a sit and make yourself comfortable.

[She grew up on the streets. So, properly addressing people is one thing Yachiru didn't and never learned. Climbing onto of the chairs in the living room, she settles down]

Um, Yachiru is fine. Being addresses as Miss is weird. Okay, ready!

Alright Yachiru, whatever is more comfortable for you.

[She takes out her medical instruments and does a regular checkup procedure on the young shinigami: heartbeat, breathing, temperature, her throat and ears. Apparently she is perfectly fine.]

Well, Yachiru. You seem to be healthy enough.
