[action/video] - Returning - 010
Lunaday, Ifrit-Decan 13, ND 2018
[There were only three things that Guy really could remember from the last few moments of his life.
Pain. Rage. Fear.
All of them, all in a sudden burst; controlling his actions, forcing his body to act on what his mind had pressed back for years and years. It was the horrifying feeling of having no control and yet being completely aware of your actions, raising his sword above his head to give a blow he thought he'd never have to see with his own eyes. The curse slot was in control, and there was absolutely nothing he could do but watch.
There was a shaking of the ground, a shout. The twang of an arrow, the ruffle of leaves... and then the world went white. He wasn't in Auldrant anymore; not surrounded by a forest of thick trees and mockingly clear skies, but instead blue-stoned buildings, humid air, the bustle of people, the roar of water... the eerily familiar glow of a massive coral out of the corner of his eye. His clothes were also sopping wet.
Too bad that sense of de-ja-vu wasn't quite what was on his mind.
The moment Guy feels his feet against the cobblestone, sword still raised above his head, there is a mental snap; a severing of control and emotions so sudden and harsh, his entire body tenses, limbs locking and vision goes black. He falters, stumbling forward a step. The katana slips from his hand, clanging to the ground as the blonde crumples beside it.
What a disaster. What a nightmare. But at least he was separated from that monster. At least for now. Thank the Score... darkness would do him some good. Here's hoping someone familiar doesn't leave him out on the pavement.
...]
[It isn't until early afternoon that the network is finally accessed. Guy himself doesn't seem to be having any trouble figuring out the SFC - it's coming back to him like he'd only been here yesterday. In fact, he's back in a very familiar apartment, sitting heavily on a couch he remembers sharing for far too long, the balcony of the second floor of a Yutopil apartment just visible in the background.
He looks very tired. But hey, no need to let that stop a smile.]
Hey there, Vatheon. Seems I had a vanishing act for a little while there, hah. Sorry.
I hope you guys haven't had too much trouble lately.
[He pauses, lips pressing together in thought, before bluntly speaking again--]
And hey... whoever went and "borrowed" my energy gauge? I'd really like it back sometime. Please.
[[ooc: ACTION IS FOR LIMITED CR ONLY PLEASE - it has been plotted in advance. :Db Feel free to respond to the video otherwise.]]

[She turns off her SFC, gathering both the machine and the data she's collected since Guy left and tucking it neatly into a folder before beginning the walk to the Nostalgia Nook. Zelda knows exactly what shop he's speaking of, Zelos has mentioned the same one. There seem to be a lot of similarities between their worlds. Sometimes, she's a little envious of that. Both men are intensely private people despite their outwardly easy manners, and it seems like they have some sort of understanding. She's still thinking about it when she arrives about twenty minutes after ending the call.]
Action
It takes him a minute to notice Zelda's approach. Even with the time that's passed since his arrival, he still looks like he'd been trampled by a wild animal... at least, in countenance - he's cleaned up already and changed to a dry outfit, but there's still exhaustion very noticeably stamped into his expression, even as his eyes drift from person to person around the Nook. Something is weighing heavily on him, and he seems too tired to mask it completely.
As soon as the blonde catches sight of her from the corner of his vision, though, his eyes light up, straightening up and turning toward her with a brilliant smile.]
Zelda---! [Ahh and he can't help but let himself laugh a little... he hadn't realized that he'd... miss her like this.] Hah, it's really nice to see you again.
...And hey, thanks for your help earlier.

When you asked where you were, I was a little worried you had forgotten. Are you feeling well, Guy? You were favoring your right arm... you don't have any injuries, do you?
[He pats that arm worriedly, the expression looking comically out of place on the Sheikah's face.]
Action
Although Guy is a bit tense when Sheik's arms are first thrown around his shoulders (and who could blame him - way to shake him up a little, Zelda...!), he certainly isn't protesting, returning the hug with a strong squeeze.
Guy's expression loses some of the spark at Shiek's question, but that grin stays steady. He lets out a sigh, shaking his head]
No, I'm not hurt. A little shaken up, I guess. But I wasn't injured at all.
Sorry for worrying you.
Action
Here is the meter. I've brought the statistics for the past while as well.
[Once he's certain Guy has a hold on the machine, he takes out a small folder. Inside is a graph with the power level of the coral on it, as well as indications of when curses or large events take place.]
