[What's the point of a SFC to a cat anyways? The video feed comes on to this face staring right at it. His eyes are dilated as he starts pawing at the screen, most possibly at the blinking lights that have caught his attention. To anyone passing by him near the fountain they would just see a strange-looking black cat meowing constantly at his SFC device while batting at it like a dead rat.

Honestly, he knows there are things he should do right now-- like find out why he was suddenly wet and not in Kyoto, but this blinking thingymabob just won't let him go. Christ, how can he resist those blinking lights?]


[ooc; kuro is a demon cat (nekomata) and can communicate to other mythical creatures through telepathy! to everyone else he just meows a lot.]

[He sniffs the SFC, ears flicking back. Of course he wouldn't understand him.

He meows again, both tails waving into the video feed. 'What is even going on here...']

Mrow! [Perky meows. He seems pretty responsive to that question. 'I'm looking for my friend, Rin! He has to be here somewhere, but I can't find him!'

[Unfortunately, Darkleer is not really a mythical creature! His powers of Void don't really translate well to talking to animals. Still, he's well versed in the more subtle body language of animals, so he relies on that.]

[ Ah, newbie week. Normally he doesn't quite care for it save for studying who's come in and who he recognizes. There's one this week he recognizes but it was no one of importance. This newbie however...

[He pulls away from his tormenting the SFC to look up at Sebastian.

'I'm not completely alone! Rin is here somewhere, I just know it...' He just. Needed to find him first.

But he pads over to Sebastian, welcoming the sight of something to dry himself off with. He had completely forgotten to do so when the SFC caught his attention.]

Rin...? I wouldn't suppose this would be a certain Rin Okumura, would it? Yes, he is in residence.

I haven't spoken to him in a while but he and I are rather loosely acquainted.

But his curiosity on that matter completely derails when he realizes Sebastian knows Rin. Also the rubdown is v. nice and v. appreciated...

[ oh... a cat. as it just so happens, yu was out doing some grocery shopping, so he's carrying a bag full of food.

it... couldn't hurt to share some, could it? the cat over there looks pretty hungry after all. well, no, maybe he actually doesn't look that hungry since his attention seems fully focused on his device, but even so yu will move a bit closer. ]

[He looks away from his SFC when his senses tell him someone is approaching. Ears perked up he watches Yu with new fascination. What was in that bag? Kuro meows loudly at him.

'Hey, maybe you can help me!']

[ he kneels down next to the cat, bag still cradled in his arms. he glances down at him, a curious look in his eyes. ]

What can I do for you?

[ no, he doesn't really understand him... probably. ]

[He leans over to sniff at his bag when it's within distance of him, ears twitching.]

Mrow? ['Is that food? I smell food!']
