[What's the point of a SFC to a cat anyways? The video feed comes on to this face staring right at it. His eyes are dilated as he starts pawing at the screen, most possibly at the blinking lights that have caught his attention. To anyone passing by him near the fountain they would just see a strange-looking black cat meowing constantly at his SFC device while batting at it like a dead rat.

Honestly, he knows there are things he should do right now-- like find out why he was suddenly wet and not in Kyoto, but this blinking thingymabob just won't let him go. Christ, how can he resist those blinking lights?]

[ooc; kuro is a demon cat (nekomata) and can communicate to other mythical creatures through telepathy! to everyone else he just meows a lot.]

[Oh, there's a face. He pads at the screen with a paw and meows.

'Hey you!'] Meow!

[Tap tap tap.]

Meow meow to you too.

[He sniffs the SFC, ears flicking back. Of course he wouldn't understand him.

He meows again, both tails waving into the video feed. 'What is even going on here...']

[Two tails? Nope, must be some... some trick of the light. Maybe the video glitching a little. No cat has two tails.]

Are you lost? Found someone's dropped phone, have you? You're so clever.

[He blinks down at Onceler, one ear quirking to the side.

'If only you could understand me! Then I could tell you I'm looking for Rin... Ugh!' Meow meow meow! How is he supposed to find Rin- or find out anything about his situation like this? It was so frustrating.]

[Awwwww, lookit that ear. Isn't it just the most precious ear?]

Hey, where are you, buddy? Cause I got something really yummy for a cute lil' fella like you.

[Cats eat marshmallows, right? Whatever.]

['Food?' He perks up visibly and nudges the SFC to (hopefully) show the fountain. That seemed like a pretty recognizable landmark, right?

'I could really go for something to eat right now!' Meow.]

Hey, I recognize that place. How about the big important Mr Once-ler takes some time out of his busy schedule just for you? Would you like that, little dude?

[Haha, what busy schedule. Without the Truffula trees here, he's pretty much dead in the water as far as business goes. He's thinking of just... starting a sweater business or something to keep him occupied.

Also it is a good thing cats don't really understand what you are saying anyway, cause wow, he's hamming it up here. But that's okay when nobody knows you are doing it anyway.]

['You don't look that important, but that's fine! Please bring me something delicious, okay?'

All the happiest meows. Rin was here somewhere, but there was nothing against Kuro getting something to eat before he found him.]

[Plz, cat, he is super important. Just look at him. Doesn't he just radiate importance?]

Stay right there, okay? Don't go anywhere.

[He turns off his SFC. God, he needs a better hobby than this but that cat was seriously cute. He fills his pockets with some Marshmallows, and off he goes! Off to the Plaza.

Once he gets there, he pretends to spy around.]

Hmmm! I wonder if anyone is interested in these delicious yummy things, I have~ I bet not.

[Kuro just sits there on the fountain's edge, cleaning the remaining water off his legs. His SFC is on the ground below him, forgotten for now.

When Onceler comes around he perks up, both tails waving lightly. Jumping off the ridge he pads over to where he stands, meowing up at him.

'I'm right here!' Two tails and all.]

[He kneels down immediately.]

Hey there little guuuyyy-- why do you have two tails?

[Like the cat is going to answer, Once-ler.]

Mrow! ['Because I'm not an ordinary cat! I'm a cat sithe!' If only he could talk to humans like he could to Rin. Life would be simpler.]

That is a very good point.

[Can he understand him? No. Doesn't mean he can't babble at him.]

We didn't exactly come here to talk about your tails. We came here for this, didn't we?

[BEHOLD THE MARSHMALLOW. It should have a goshdarn halo of light and angel chorus, really.]

[His ear flicks back. Did he really understand him or was he just toying with him? Hmmm...

... But back to attention. 'What's that?' He's never eaten a marshmallow before and he isn't sure how it'll taste, but that won't scare him off. Food is food after all. He meows again, eyes on the prize.

'It looks like a ball of wet cotton!']

[He squeezes the marshmallow enticingly. Man, is there anything better than marshmallows? He thinks not. Then, with a grand gesture, he swoops his hand down, holding the marshmallow out towards Kuro.]

Here you go, little guy.

[He leans forward to sniff at the marshmallow, prodding it with his nose before taking it in his mouth.

Dropping it on the ground he starts to lick at it, not sure how else to eat it. 'It sure is sweet...!']

Is that good?

[He's just going to reach down and pet him right between the ears. What is this asking for permission thing?]

Mroow!

[It was weird, but not nasty so of course he likes it. He licks his muzzle, looking pretty happy. If he minds the pets he doesn't show it-- in fact it looks like he's smiling.]

[Animals are sure fun to play with. He scratches the cat behind the ears a little longer before suddenly! Oh what is this! Oh my!

He withdraws another marshmallow from his pocket, holding it up above Kuro's head, just out of reach.]

You want another one, lil' fella'?
