How does one... move on from being hopelessly in love? When it's clear that nothing you do will ever make the tides turn in your favor, what would be the next logical step?

I've noticed our home is getting a bit crowded as of late. Rather than make a big deal over it, I have decided to move. I know there will be some protests, but there is a nice two bedroom just down the way, about three houses from ours. I will be fine living alone, so please don't make a fuss over my decision.

Well if she said no then what helped me was, um... not talking to her at all, or even seeing her. It's confusing and hard, but eventually you'll find someone else who loves you back.

No? Lemme break it down for you. One: it'll get her out of your system. Two: if she finds out about it, she's less likely to try and hang around you unless it's important or just as friends because she'll assume you're with someone else.

Reject me? I admit there are moments I wish she would. It would certainly make things easier and far less confusing.

No... I've simply reached a wall I'm uncertain how to pass. Whatever her feelings may be, she hasn't made them clear and I fear she never will.

I'm not going to push her in to telling me just so I can hear what I want to hear, either. That wouldn't benefit either of us. I'm simply... throwing in the towel, so to speak.

I think a bit of distance, however small, might do me some good in any case. And I know you'll worry. I expect you to be over at least once a day, fussing and making sure I'm eating properly.

I cannot say I've precisely experienced the same situation, but I believe mine is similar enough that I may be of some help.
