My name is Asbel Lhant and I'm a friend of Sophie's from back home. Cheria and I would like to talk to everyone about some of the things Sophie has said over the Network.

[He looks off screen as if expecting a cue to continue.]

Sophie is... Really impressionable. She takes everything she hears literally and she doesn't understand the meaning behind some words or that some words and phrases can mean different things.

We're trying our best to educate her but we would really appreciate it if people didn't wouldn't teach her things that would be considered rude or vulgar.

If you have any questions, Cheria and I would be happy to answer them.

My dad would get angry at me whenever I learned something he didn't like. I wouldn't get mad at Sophie though, I just don't want people to take advantage of her.

What were your parents like, Zelos?

[Asbel imagined that they were actors or adventurers based on Zelos' personality.]

Then he's really protective of her. Although, I can certainly tell why, I use to have a friend like that.

[He's just curious, because his dad was always apologising to others for his mischief and grounding him for nothing :T ]

I think everybody gets that. That she's asking questions because she just doesn't know, I mean.

Unfortunately, there seem to be people who take advantage of that and tell her things that aren't true, or that she doesn't need to really know about yet. Which is why we're trying to get the word out to people so that maybe we could cut down on that a little more.

Well yeah, but Sophie doesn't always understand when people are lying.

If you think something might be, then try not to say it? I'd say that's a good general rule of thumb to go by in this case ...

I'm sure she will in time, but until she does, Asbel and I are going to look out for her and make sure she's not being taken advantage of.
