[Sunday morning, and time for Link to rise...]

[About a month later, as it turns out.]

[For a moment, he's disoriented, staring at the ceiling in a vague sort of way. He feels a bit like he's been run through a wringer, exhausted from not having touched the coral in - what, a month and a half? - and it takes him a moment before he can summon the energy to reach for the SFC.]

Um - hi. [Whoops, scratchy voice - let him clear that.]

I guess I was asleep for a really long time, huh... [Bit of movement in the background, Link is trying to push himself up and look for his boots. If he can find Asi somewhere nearby, he can get him to the coral, right?] It's weird, because I slept for a week just before this...

[Oh well. Have a sleepy smile (and, okay, some pretty epic bedhead).] But I'm up now! Um...

What did I miss?

[Later in the day, once he's touched the coral, he can be found here and there - getting used to food again, stretching his legs after a month of no movement. At times, he can be found in the plaza, a blue ocarina in his hands as he plays music.]

Not to mention all the stuff you would need to buy to decorate them!

It takes a lot of work just to make them all look really pretty without getting jealous!

How would you decorate bird heads? [He sounds rather puzzled - does that mean Asi would like a hat?]

Hm...

I've seen a couple of bird trainers in my world but they usually have a regular brown hat.

I guess we'll just have to be creative and figure it out! We can add feathers, yarn and string...those kind of things!

Right! And hopefully Asi won't think it's a toy and break it. [He laughs a little as Asi gives a mildly indignant, "Kweh!" at that.]

If it's like that, we'll just have to make another one!

And hopefully, he won't think of it like that next time!

Well, he mostly eats plants. Maybe we just shouldn't put anything green on it.

Or anything that looks like a plant either...

So I guess no string?

Well, maybe if it's a really bright-coloured string! Like blue or red. I don't think there's many blue or red plants, aside from flowers...

Hm...does Asi eat eggplants?

If so, we should avoid purple string too!

I guess we'll just have to get feathers!

I don't think so. It's mostly just green things, like you get growing in the forest everywhere. [There's an agreeable "Kweh!" at that, and Link flails slightly as Asi dips his head to grab at some of those said greens.]

Careful, Asi!

Ah, Asi!

Careful, you don't want to hurt Link while you're eating!

It's okay. [Link laughs a little as he rights himself.] I just wasn't expecting it. I'm fine!

Are you sure?

Because if anything does happen...

It's okay! I've got a lot of practise riding, anyway. And we're not far away from the plaza.

[Probably a good thing - he's keeping quiet about it for fear of worrying Bianca, but he's feeling rather woozy.]

Oh? Are you getting some stuff over there?

Or just looking around?

Well - I need to go to the coral. I've been sleeping for a really long time. And I'm going to see Sola there.

[If Bianca looks carefully, she might note that the poor kid is pretty pale.]

[Waiitttt......]

Then what are you doing here talking to me right now?

Go to the coral already, I don't want to make you even more sick!

I am going! [He holds the SFC up - yup, that sure is landscape moving in the background.] I just haven't got there yet. Besides, talking to a friend is nicer than just travelling alone.

Yea but...

I don't want you to faint in the middle of the road because you didn't get to the coral fast enough...

Well... Sola's waiting for me. If I take really long, I bet he'll come and find me, right? [At least he has good balance to begin with - staying on Asi isn't too hard.]

I guess but...

[She shakes her head a bit]

Just get there whenever you can! Sola probably doesn't mind the wait, just as long as you're safe, you'll be okay!

I'm going, it's okay. [He gives her a reassuring smile - and see? The trees are thinning out.] I'm getting near there, anyway.
