[The feed of the SFC kicks on to show a very grumpy man. His suit and trench coat are dripping wet and he‘s wringing out his hat with his free hand. By the crumpled look of his jacket he probably wrung that out while figuring out how to use…the starfish?]

All right. Where the hell am I. I know for damn sure I wasn't drunk in the last hour, so I didn't end up in front a City Hall again.

[He gives a little growl and plops his very beat up hat back into shape before placing it on his head.]

I'm sittin' in front of a God damn fountain talking to a God damn star fish. I want answers. Now.

Kidnappin's a big deal even for a scum bag like me. So I’m through askin' nice.

Everything better be up front. I ain't takin' any guff from toons or whatever the hell else is in this damn town.

Well some of them look like aliens, sure, but there's rabbits and ducks and some even look like people... I'm still tryin' to figure out how you've never heard of a toon before.

It's the purrlanet where I'm furom but it's furry far away furom Earth so you purrobably haven't efur heard of it befur.

[He's plopped down on the fountain now. Standing for so long wasn't good on a dry day. He rubbed his head and just gave Nepeta a bit of an unsure look.]
