I'm not going to bother with any guessing games- this is Dirk. Jade's running around in my body.

[He adjusts Jade's glasses. Needing these things to see is a weird experience. By the end of the week, he'll probably have a habit of adjusting his shades.] This is a pretty informative curse. And I don't just mean the sudden unintentional gender switch. The ears are pretty damn interesting too.

Anyway, I woof-

Did anyone ever teach you no means no? Just because this body's canine instincts are reacting doesn't mean I want to play fetch.

Oh c'mon. It's not every day you're a dog girl. [And he was asking to play catch. Normal people can play catch, right?

He just might also steal a scratch to those ears.] We can just hang out for a bit.

[If he plays catch, he will try to catch it with his mouth. a.k.a. his face.]

I can appreciate the dog girl bit. I'd have to be completely unversed in the ways of irony not to. Doesn't mean I'll let you anywhere near this body's ears. Or anything like that. Call me a wet blanket, but I am not exactly fucking thrilled about the thought of being overcome with the instinctive reactions of a canine.

[Darn. They look soft.]

Eh. Okay, okay. You win, man. We could just hang out anyways. Want to snag a burger or something? [He can at least watch the tail wag or the ears move. :D]

[That, at least, will definitely happen.]

[Totally going to make sure...the body he's in looks okay. Like the hair isn't a mess or anything. Man, long hair was a bit of a pain, man! But he had to take care of what wasn't his!

It'll take a little longer than a few before he-she is jogging over to the fountain.]

[It's less of a challenge for Dirk- sure, the long hair is a bit weird, but he's used to taking care of it. Dealing with Jade's takes a lot less time than managing his own.

It doesn't take long before he shows up in the plaza, ears swiveling around to take in all the sounds.]

Mei!Hayner will probably be hard to miss as he jogged over. As fun as it would be to sneak up on dog!Dirk, he wasn't about to risk getting kicked or something if he tried. That, and it wasn't his body.]

Hey. Sorry about the wait. [The hair style the girl normally wore probably wasn't even. Whoops.]

[It's a good thing that Hayner didn't try, because it wouldn't have worked. Not that trying when Dirk is in his own body, considering that around other people Dirk's reaction to surprise often involves swords.]

No big. I didn't get here as fast as usual, anyway.

[Yay for not giving in to dumb ideas.

Hayner starts heading in the direction of the place.]

Does she have a tail? I found out that this girl has pokemon. [He was avoiding saying “the girl I’m in” because that just sounded weird, man.]

No tail. Just the ears. [In his opinion, the ears are more than enough.]
