[The video clicks on, an ear twitches. A rather long tan ear, a face belonging to someone, with glasses and horrible teeth and yawns. Following by a stretch with his arms. One has to admit, the outfit looks a bit familiar. The person or animal rather cracks their neck. Whoever this is, appears to be in some kind of lab. Then speaking in a familiar nerdy voice]

How long was I sleeping on the table there?! [Rubs the back of his neck and then scratches his hair before looking over on the wall, which appears to have prison bar numbers and counts them]

Alright, how long have I been out?

If anyone can give me the status of the – CORAL! As far as what the power level has been and any oddies that went along with that. Would be greatly appreciated. Yes.

[Pause and more of a shuttering voice]

Have those murders subsided?

[Continues to rub the back of his neck]

Mr. Kimblee, my apologies as I don’t believe we finished our last conversation.

(Denzel's been in coma for a few weeks and woke up as a Rocko! kangaroo, Anyone want to break it to him, he's an animal? Enjoy~)

[Tech would recognize that twitch anywhere.]

So that's where you've been. Well, where to start. The coral has remained stable more or less since the return of the priestess, with absolutely no fluctuations. Curses, however, continue as normal. As you are no doubt imminently aware.

As for the murders, it's...complicated. But to answer your question at its most basic, yes, they have subsided.

I could [and he will] but you may as well just fill it out yourself, the readings are at 100% across the board.

You mean you hadn't noticed yet? Yes, you appear to be afflicted by the curse that's going around. The most common effect seems to be a kind of splicing of human and animal traits, though there appear to be some variances, depending on the subject.

[But it looks like they're moving on.]

Well our "killer" confessed, but he wants us to believe that the murders were the work of some sort of alternate personality--one that can only be repressed with psychic intervention, mind you. The jury is still out on that one, but our investigation was thrown off even further by interference from the Head Nurse. It seems our charitable overlords have enacted some new rules involving death in the city, both for victims and perpetrators.

Maybe, but I see no reason why it couldn't happen. I'm keeping an eye out for other normally non-human residents.

You appear to be some kind of mammal, either marsupial or cervidae. It's hard to tell from here, and with this degree of merging of traits.
