[Ok. So like. Everything's... furry.

There's a loud clatter as his SFC topples to the ground and gets kicked around couple of times until video finally pops up. What you'll see is first a large paw followed shortly by two very vibrant green eyes, under them distinct black markings on a feline face. But this isn't your run of the mill house cat. Oh, dear, no.

This is a cheetah. And it's currently making odd chirping noises at the screen, frantic, then followed by curious purrs and mews as the giant cat steps back to show its complete body.

Why this cat's in Axel's room is any guess... or is it?

There's more chirping and tail flicking, claws digging into the ground and fur bristling in annoyance. Ok. No opposable thumbs and no voice. This could pose a problem.]

[Axel growls playfully and after swatting at Roxas head one more time he slips down onto the ground to triumphantly walk off, head held high.
Oh, he kind of likes this.]

[Strongly tempted to pounce on his friend while his back's turned. Walking off like that as if he's won...

Screw it, Roxas is pouncing you.]

[Axel senses something approaching... and sure enough WHAM. He's been pounced!

Instinctively he growls and tosses about, tail flicking and paws grabbing at Roxas, but if Roxas pays attention maybe he'll see a sort of grin on his face. Playfully he swats at Roxas and even takes a few nips at his clothes because that just seems fun to do.]

[Roxas doesn't need to see the grin. The fact that Axel's playing along says everything, and he swats back, growling a little himself and almost nipping at Axel except-- well, that would be weird.

As if what they're doing isn't weird enough already.

He tries to wrestle his friend, but sadly Roxas is still the smaller one. At least he's taller than you when you're on all fours I guess.]

[He meows playfully and takes a nip at one of those cat ear atop Roxas' head and even rolls about to try and pin him to the ground. Grr, you won't get away with this, shrimpy!]

[Roxas puts up a fight but inevitably he winds up pinned under his newly cheetah friend. He doesn't seem too put out by it, a grin exposing little fangs of his own, like he's just waiting for a chance to get the upper hand.]

[Axel rolls about until finally he's got Roxas pinned just like he wanted. He sticks his tongue out and lets out a loud mew, satisfied with his victory.]

...yeah, well, you still don't have any thumbs.

[Roxas squirms a little. Are you going to get off him any time soon?]

[He makes a gruff noise at that and bats at Roxas' face. Afterward he backs up and trots away again, flicking his tail to try and smack the kid in the face one more time.

He can get used to this.]

[He at least manages to swat Axel's tail out of the way before it hits him in the face. Then he pushes himself up and gets back on his feet.]

You're having way too much fun with this.

[...okay, maybe it is a little fun.]

[Axel looks over his shoulder and mews at him, probably joking or something in cheetah!speak, before he turns away to head towards the front door. From there he'll just... uselessly paw at it and even try to stand up to turn the knob with his teeth.]

[... Step aside, Axel, and let the professional person with thumbs handle this.

Roxas joins him at the door and just nudges him aside before turning the knob ~~like magic~~ and opening the door.]

There you go.

[Shut up, smarty pants.

Once the door's open he flattens his ears out and huffs at Roxas. As he passes him, he, too, gives him a rough nudge in the leg before he sets foot outside. Ohhhh thank goodness. It is so much nicer out here.

He glances over his shoulder and gives Roxas a look as if asking if he'll join him or not.]

I'm coming. Wouldn't want you getting stuck somewhere.

[Roxas steps out after him, hesitating on completely shutting the door. It's not like certain people can't get in anyway...]

[He chitters and chatters at that, chest puffed out in arrogance. Dude, he won't get stuck anywhere! ... He hopes.

He decides to let it go and walks on. However, when he reaches the flight of stairs heading to ground level he stops and stares, tail and ears twitching ever-so slightly and in deep concentration. Ok. He knows he won't fall down, but he's on all fours! That'll be hard.]

[Roxas takes a few steps ahead down the staircase before he realizes Axel isn't following and he looks back.]

...they're just stairs.

[You think you can handle doors but you're worried about stairs?]

[But stairs are scary, Roxas.

Axel chirps at him, assuring that he's not worried about this even though he really is, before he tentatively places a paw out and onto the top step. What Roxas will see next is his best friend taking a very long time to get all four paws on the first step and then the next, legs shaking and tail swishing.

Fffffff he usually doesn't care about heights.]

[Yeah, you don't look worried at all.

Roxas still isn't completely sure what the big deal is, but he's not about to say so when Axel looks so shaky. He moves closer to rest a hand on his friend's shoulder.]

I'm right here, okay?

[He'll do his best to catch you if you stumble.]

[Axel twitches when that hand ends up on his shoulder but after looking over at Roxas he settles down and chirps softly at him. He'll be fine, don't you worry. Seriously, he's got this, man, he's got this.

... So here he goes, tip-toeing down step by step until he reaches the lower steps and just leaps off, ending up rather gracefully on his paws.]

...that works.

[Roxas catches him up at the bottom of the steps. Hopefully going back up them won't prove to be so much of a problem.

Time to go ahead and get the door to the building then.]

[Going up shouldn't be a problem. It's just going down that seems to be. But Axel should be all right so long as they don't go jumping off roofs or anything.

He waits for his friend to open up the door before he peeks out... and, suddenly excited, bolts out the door like lightning.]

Axel--?

[Roxas starts after him but only gets a few strides before realizing there's no way he's keeping up with that. He'll just... watch him go. Wow.]

[And he's off! It's just instinct from there on out, leading him around corners and leaping over benches and other random obstacles like he's not even thinking about them. For a while he keeps at this until he remembers, oh yeah. Roxas came with him, didn't he?

Axel skids to a stop, panting, and looks over to see if Roxas is still hanging out behind him.]

[He tried to at least keep Axel in sight, but by the time Axel thinks to look for him? Roxas has lost him.

He'll just sit himself down on a bench for a little bit and see if Axel comes back.

... and quickly be distracted by a bug flying around. Ohh bug. He can catch that thing and kill it and then it will be dead.]

[Axel rolls his eyes. Honestly, kid couldn't keep up with him? Then again, he did just take off without warning.

So after letting out a higher pitched chirp to let Roxas know he's coming back he runs back, a little slower this time, but still fairly fast.

By the time he gets back - Oh. Watch him make more cheetah laughing noises, Roxas.]
