005 - [Video]

[Tifa appears on the video, looking pretty relaxed. With the lack of insanity lately, she's had time to sort a few things out.]

All the animals running around the other day reminded me -- I heard we have some chocobos here in Vatheon.

Is there anyone who wouldn't mind letting me ride theirs from time to time? It's something I really enjoyed back home. The weather's not bad for it right now either.

I as well. The latter, however, isn't much of a problem at all. I don't mind being cooped up. This time is of my own free will, as well, so that is what one would consider a "plus".

Hm. I guess I get restless after a while.

And when you get restless, you start to search for chocobos.

Well, why not? They're about the only bit of home I can find here.

Do you ever go riding yourself?

Not on Chocobos, no. I don't think they're really meant for someone my size.

I used to ride on... horseback would be the proper term here. My lusus was a hoofbeast.

[...that's probably true. Barret does look a little silly on a chocobo, and Darkleer's even a head taller.]

My guardian. On Alternia, we do not have family units like humans do. Instead, when we emerge from the caverns after our trials and pupating, we are taken in by a "lusus naturae", which are the Alternian fauna. They are recognizable by their pure white form.

Well, you know, sometimes kids can help simplify things. You don't have to get into too many details.
