[After getting her assignment from the Defense Force, a certain little red-head wants to check out the quadrant she's assigned to. So far, what she's finding is interesting to say the least. A pirate ship is always interesting.]

Well, this fills my ominous places quota for the day.  So, a pirate ship. I haven't seen one like this in quite sometime. Though I suppose it does make sense. We at the bottom of an ocean so it's only natural there are shipwrecks even down here.

[She tilts her head up to stare at the rigging of the ship and frowns a little before shaking her head.]

I wonder what brought it down here.

Do ya have an interest in buccaneers or jus' the ship getting in? [Studying what he could see from the feed.] Don't think anyone knows what drew that in. Might have been the giant squid that brought it or the change with the bubble. It was a might bit before my time here but my bucko was around.

A bit of both really. I'm curious somewhat curious about other pirate cultures, but mostly its curiosity about how the ships got here.

[Yup. GIANT SQUID] It couldn't fit inside the dome. It did get it's legs in to make a mess of the city. It came a little more than a year ago, but a bit after the ship.

Not a clue. Just stuck 'em through I suppose. We were too busy trying to take them out. It took a banjo being played right before the thing stopped it's attack. Might also be the reason that particular instrument isn't available in normal shops.

A banjo, lass. Stringed instrument that is round at the bottom. [Best he can describe it.] My mate is the one who played the right notes to pacify the creature.

I know what a banjo is. I'm just surprised that's what pacified the beast. I've heard of a flute or a harp doing the job before, but not a banjo.

In case ya haven't noticed, this whole place is a bit of a special case.

[A pause as he tapped the table thoughtfully.] Been exploring the caverns up at the top district? Deep in there is where the banjo was found.

I haven't been there just yet. But, if that's the case I may have to nudge it closer to the top of my list of places to check out.
