I // [video]
[The screen flickers slightly before revealing a smiling young face, red eyes wide in wonder as she stares at the camera. The girl looks very excited, or at least eager to see what this device does. There's almost a sense of pride emanating from her - after all, being in a family of magi meant that they avoided contact with modern technology as much as possible. So getting this thing to work is quite the accomplishment, and she looks around for a few moments around the edge of the screen - checking things, probably - before looking back at the camera.
Unfortunately, she doesn't notice that it's upside down.]
Hello everyone! I'm Ilyasviel von Einzbern, but Ilya is fine. I'm new here, so I'm looking for someone to be my older brother!
[She smiles again. It's not in her intention to further explain what an older brother entails, since the best older brothers would already know what to do without her telling them. Ideally, the older brother would be someone who's actually older than her, but if they act and look older than her, that's fine too. All things considered, that really shouldn't be too hard...]
I guess a big sister would be okay too... but a big brother would be better. So, someone come play with me, okay?
[Her eyes wander off to the sides of the screen again. A few moments pass by as this continues, and the girl mutters a barely audible 'how do you turn this off?']

Well, he's definitely not on the potential big brothers list, that's for sure.]
I read it. [She pulls out the welcome brochure she has on her.] I'm just getting used to this thing, that's all!
[She needs to get back on the offensive, or else she's going to lose against this jerk.]
And? Who are you? If you're going to be so rude as to barge in on a lady's space, you should at least introduce yourself.
[action]
There's satisfaction in the curt nod the grim reaper gives her as she produces a copy of the Welcome Committee's brochure.]
Death the Kid.
I admit, I'm surprised to see a young child brought into the confines of this impeccable sphere. Perhaps the coral is as unpredictable as they say.
[action]
Wait, what was that about the coral?]
What do you mean about the coral being unpredictable? And what's wrong with a child being here? Your name sounds pretty childish too.
[She really doesn't like this guy. He just always sounds so... rude. And apparently, he has no qualms about being rude to children!]
[action]
[Although his delivery is fairly deadpan, he's patient in his explanation.]
Some of these curses are extremely dangerous. I'm just surprised that, for a large coral growth to which many attribute some kind of sentience, it would be so indiscriminate as to bring children into its sphere of influence.
[As for whether or not 'Death the Kid' sounds childish, he only exhales a low note:] ...Hmph.
[action]
I don't mind. Danger isn't new to me.
[She was born and raised to be a Master, and her training consisted of being tossed into the forest and fighting against wild beasts. Even though she had Berserker, it was life or death for two entire months of her life.
Whatever the coral could do probably has nothing on that experience.]
So just what kinds of curses are there?
[action]
Most recently, anyone coming into physical contact with each other would find themselves attached there until a random duration of time had passed.
I've heard of others, less benign than this one, affecting the personalities and even the sanity of all those affected by it.
[action]
[It would be nice if she could happily latch onto someone's arm like that, but then she thinks about it again and she would probably get bored sooner or later. And it would be pretty inconvenient...
But the other ones sound more serious. She frowns slightly when hearing them, but only for a moment.]
But I think if it does things like this, it doesn't really care about who it brings in anyway, right?
