[The screen flickers slightly before revealing a smiling young face, red eyes wide in wonder as she stares at the camera. The girl looks very excited, or at least eager to see what this device does. There's almost a sense of pride emanating from her - after all, being in a family of magi meant that they avoided contact with modern technology as much as possible. So getting this thing to work is quite the accomplishment, and she looks around for a few moments around the edge of the screen - checking things, probably - before looking back at the camera.

Unfortunately, she doesn't notice that it's upside down.]

Hello everyone! I'm Ilyasviel von Einzbern, but Ilya is fine. I'm new here, so I'm looking for someone to be my older brother!

[She smiles again. It's not in her intention to further explain what an older brother entails, since the best older brothers would already know what to do without her telling them. Ideally, the older brother would be someone who's actually older than her, but if they act and look older than her, that's fine too. All things considered, that really shouldn't be too hard...]

I guess a big sister would be okay too... but a big brother would be better. So, someone come play with me, okay?

[Her eyes wander off to the sides of the screen again. A few moments pass by as this continues, and the girl mutters a barely audible 'how do you turn this off?']

[Ilya doesn't appreciate that condescending tone that the other person is taking with her. Only after she says her piece does she realize the familiarity with which she was addressed. Looking back at the screen, she can't believe what she sees - a younger but unmistakable image of one Tohsaka successor.]

Rin? What are you doing here?

[It then occurs to her that this could very well be a younger version of Rin herself, but Ilya says nothing of that... yet.

[Does this mean that someone else from her time has come to this Vatheon?

It also confirms the idea that, at the very least, this particular Rin doesn't know of her existence. Not that Ilya minds. The Rin she knows is just as proud as this little one, and having no prior relationship does mean that they might be able to start anew.

Although it does mean that asking her anything about the Jeweled Sword is probably useless...]

He's decided I'm his ward here. If you're not careful, he'll probably make up his mind about any magus like that.

[Ilya's no magus. She doesn't know who this Lord El-Melloi person is, but she does feel like he's someone important. Rin did say 'esteemed'.]

I guess I'll just have to keep a watch out for him.

[The fact that he must also be from her time, and not Rin's, is a little reassuring. Not that she's been terribly worried.]

Not that he's all that bad at it, I suppose, but it's still troublesome.

[From the Clock Tower, huh. She has some sort of vague understanding of the place, that it's the home of the Mage's Association, but she doesn't really know. She didn't have to, right?

Troublesome because he bosses you around? Well, you don't look very old.

[This Rin may be young, but Ilya knows that this person is still the Rin she knows, in some way. So she doesn't feel bad at all for making fun of her.]
