There's almost a sense of pride emanating from her - after all, being in a family of magi meant that they avoided contact with modern technology as much as possible. So getting this thing to work is quite the accomplishment, and she looks around for a few moments around the edge of the screen - checking things, probably - before looking back at the camera.

Unfortunately, she doesn't notice that it's upside down.]

Hello everyone! I'm Ilyasviel von Einzbern, but Ilya is fine. I'm new here, so I'm looking for someone to be my older brother!

[She smiles again. It's not in her intention to further explain what an older brother entails, since the best older brothers would already know what to do without her telling them. Ideally, the older brother would be someone who's actually older than her, but if they act and look older than her, that's fine too. All things considered, that really shouldn't be too hard...]

I guess a big sister would be okay too... but a big brother would be better. So, someone come play with me, okay?

[Her eyes wander off to the sides of the screen again. A few moments pass by as this continues, and the girl mutters a barely audible 'how do you turn this off?']

[Well, he seems a little strange, but not someone who wants her to come to harm. So she nods in agreement with a smile.

His name is kind of weird, though, and she makes no hesitation in asking about it. Gale she can understand, but this Embryon thing is unfamiliar to her...]

Embryon? What's that?

The Embryon is my tribe. They are much like a family to me.

[That's not quite the description of a tribe, perhaps, but it sounds like they all have a close relationship.]

Neither. We are the same age, all of us.

All of you? So you're all... like twins?

[Well, there's also the idea that they're all clones. She's not unfamiliar with that - she is a homunculus, after all.]

I do not believe it is considered being twins if we were created.

[So he wasn't born, then. She knows a little bit of how that feels - she was born from a womb, yes... but she certainly isn't natural.]

So who are you and the rest of the Embryon?

We were created from data- I believe the term used was a 'combat AI.'

Data? What's that?

[Magi are horrible with modern technology. And with Ilya coming from one of the purest and traditional families, this is a natural consequence... although she does know how to work a few things, which is better than some.]

Data is what everything is made up of. It is, essentially, information.

[Data works kind of strangely in his world, anyway.]

Everything is made of it? That sounds strange to me.

[It certainly doesn't sound concurrent with her understanding of magecraft. Or at least, she knows enough that data is not a naturally occurring thing in her world, so it must oppose what she knows.

But maybe Gale's dimension is different? Rather, it probably is.]

[It certainly is, though he doesn't know enough about science on his world to compare all of it to the things here.]
