[The screen flickers slightly before revealing a smiling young face, red eyes wide in wonder as she stares at the camera. The girl looks very excited, or at least eager to see what this device does. There's almost a sense of pride emanating from her - after all, being in a family of magi meant that they avoided contact with modern technology as much as possible. So getting this thing to work is quite the accomplishment, and she looks around for a few moments around the edge of the screen - checking things, probably - before looking back at the camera.

Unfortunately, she doesn't notice that it's upside down.]

Hello everyone! I'm Ilyasviel von Einzbern, but Ilya is fine. I'm new here, so I'm looking for someone to be my older brother!

[She smiles again. It's not in her intention to further explain what an older brother entails, since the best older brothers would already know what to do without her telling them. Ideally, the older brother would be someone who's actually older than her, but if they act and look older than her, that's fine too. All things considered, that really shouldn't be too hard...]

I guess a big sister would be okay too... but a big brother would be better. So, someone come play with me, okay?

[Her eyes wander off to the sides of the screen again. A few moments pass by as this continues, and the girl mutters a barely audible 'how do you turn this off?']

[ Asked as Shing offers Ilya a towel just in case she hasn't dried off yet. It's okay, you're not the only one who was really confused when they first arrived here... ]

[She's fairly dry now, but she won't say no to a warm towel. And she's managed to learn enough from the locals, even though they didn't answer any of the more important questions.]

Um, I'm just staying at a hotel right now! But I don't really want to stay there forever...

Yeah... that's not good at all.

[ A pause as he thinks of something... ]

I know! Why not come to Yutopil with me? There's a lot of apartments there that are free...

Yutopil... is that a place here?

[She tilts her head. That's a weird name.

But hey, she doesn't have any other ideas for where to go now, and Shing seems like a nice person... so why not? After a quick moment of thought, she nods in agreement.]

Okay! Do you live there?

Yeah! I live there with Kohaku, my girlfriend...

[ Again, he's blushing as he talks about her... shaking his head, Shing nods, gesturing to her to follow him as he heads in the direction of the apartments. ]

I know a few others you'd get along with well, too. Rin and Bianca are their names.

Really?

[Well, it's not like she doesn't get along with people - who doesn't get along with a small girl? - but Ilya knows 'getting along' and 'being friends' aren't the same thing.

Still, she's not going to say no to potential friends.]

What are they like?

Ah... Rin's like a brother to me. He can be a little rough around the edges, but he's got a good heart. And Bianca... she's very cute. And very sweet, too -- she's like my little sister! You'll like them very much.

[ He beams with pride, talking about the both of them. They really were some of the best companions and friends he could ask for~

And he hoped Ilya liked them too... ]

[Ilya nods. Well, if Shing likes them, maybe they'll get along with her too!]

So how far are we walking?

[She's just kind of been absently following so far. Everything is still really new, after all... though she's been keeping an eye out for danger.]

Not too far! The apartments are very close to here.

[ And just as he says that, the building comes into view--! ]

[It's a medium-sized apartment building - nothing like a huge skyscraper like the ones she saw in Shinto, but taller than the ones in the area where Shirou lived.

And... well, it certainly isn't her castle. But Shing probably doesn't live here alone, does he?]

How many other people live here? It seems like there are a lot of spaces...

With me, you mean? Two others -- Kohaku and Bianca.

[ A pause as Shing thinks for a bit about that... ]

Otherwise... I don't really know. There's a lot of people here with us who're stuck here too, but I don't exactly know how many people are in each apartment complex here...

Hmm. Is there a space near you that's free?

[It would probably be best if she stays near someone she kind of already knows. And Shing is nice, and seems like he'll look out for her at least a little bit...]

There's several, actually! You're more than welcome to choose whichever you like.

[She runs forward as they approach the building in question, although she stops at the door. It is a little rude to enter first, and as much as she thinks Shing wouldn't mind, she doesn't want to ruin a relationship that she's just started.

So she waits at the door with a smile, calling out to him.]

Come on!

Okay, okay--! I'm coming!

[ Her smile causes him to smile as well, and with a nod he opens the door for her. ]

[Ilya gives Shing a smile and a nod in thanks, and walks into the apartment. It's nothing fancy - certainly not on the level of what she's used to in the Einzbern castles - but it's not a shack, either.]

So... which one do you live in?

[She points at all the doors.]

Ah... it's that one!

[ Shing points a few doors down to another door; this one has a couple decorations on it, unlike the other doors. ]

So feel free to stop by if ever you need anything. Okay?

[Looking at where Shing pointed, she nods.]

Okay! Thank you, Shing!

[Oh, one more thing - ]

Are there any apartments free on this floor?

There should be plenty! Last I checked, Kohaku and I were the only ones on this floor, so we should have several extra here.

[ And he nods in emphasis. ]

I'd check anyway, though. Just to be sure.

Okay, I will! Thank you, Shing!

[And with that, Ilya gives a small bob and heads down the hall. Somehow, she's managed to find a good big brother here!

It's stil a really new and strange place, this Vatheon... but at least she has someone to ask questions to now. Maybe she won't be as lonely as before any more!]

No problem, Ilya! Don't hesitate to ask for anything if you need it, okay?

[ Shing smiles, waving back at her and watching her for a bit with a small smile before he heads to his own apartment.

She was such a sweetheart... he'd decided. He'd definitely watch over her and protect her. She was his precious younger sister, after all~ ]
