[Good day bubble, today on your SFC you will see one templar at coming in and out of one dressing room of two which is situated in one of the many clothing shops in the plaza. His hand has hit his own SFC on without much though, which is why what else can be seen is a mirror and small table between the dressing rooms as well. He also seems to be posing in front of said mirror and coming out in different clothing every time that ranges from this to this and even this. He's making comments too, some examples are "Oh this won't do." and "Ugh! This is awful!" for specifics. His hair that's usually tied up is not for the day either and his ears are sporting a pair of ruby stud earrings. Anyone can see he's having a hard time deciding what outfit to pick too, but finally decides on one as he's done changing back into his regular clothes and holding each one up.]

Hmm... I think I'll go with that gray suit I chose with the red tie and these earrings aren't that terrible either. A nice birthday gift to myself I would say too. Then I can get home, pick up Ib, and we'll be on our way to dinner. [Picks up the SFC, he'll see it's already on and linefaces for a moment before continuing.] Since this obviously was on before I decided to make a call, it seems my words prior were heard. So yes, it's my birthday and I'm going out to dinner with my adopted daughter Ib. Also Ib darling, if you're listening, I hope you're getting ready by the time I'm back at the apartment. [Obviously the world needed to know these facts, right?]

Anyway. I'm still not sure what the big deal with birthdays is about, but I might as well celebrate since people here seem to do that and this will be the first time in years I'm actually enjoying this day. But either way, I've done enough talking so I'll be in touch if anyone needs me. [Then he promptly turns off the feed.]

[Well then. Serph can hear sounds of movement, so there's someone home. Knowing that, Serph raps on Angelo's door. Two sharp knocks before he stops and waits, listening.]

[beauchevalier]

[Snapping out of his groggy state from hearing the knocks at the door, Angelo finishes cooking then quickly fixes up his hair. It's the very least he could do for a guest, right? Once done that task, he moves to open the door and sees it's Serph.]

...Serph? Well I wasn't expecting a visit from you, but what brings you here this morning?

[bufudine]

[When Angelo opens the door, Serph nods in greeting. After Angelo speaks, Serph holds out the vase with the flower out for Angelo to take.]

Happy birthday.

[beauchevalier]

[Angelo has a look of surprise on his face when Serph gives him the vase with the flower. Seeing as Serph brought it all the way here, he can't say no and takes it.]

Thank you, it's a very beautiful flower.

[bufudine]

[Serph nods, acknowledging the compliment.]

It's from our garden. A local gave me the vase.

[It's not like Serph has a good sense of aesthetics, after all.]

[beauchevalier]

[He's not sure why Serph would do that, but he guesses and doesn't mind.]

That's very kind of you to do for me, I appreciate it.

[bufudine]

[Well, okay then. Angelo looks like he just rolled out of bed so, errand done, Serph nods.]

See you later.

[And he turns to leave.]

[beauchevalier]

[He puts the vase on a table then looks back as Serph is leaving.]

Serph wait, do you want to stay for a little while?

[bufudine]

[Serph pauses, and turns back. He tilts his head.]

If I'm not intruding.

[beauchevalier]

[Angelo shakes his head and invites him in.]

You're not intruding, so don't think I'm kicking you out.

[bufudine]

[After a brief moment, Serph nods, and enters. He's only been inside the apartment once, and that was strictly on business. And he'd been rushing then. This time, Serph takes the time to look around and see what exactly the apartment is like, not making any attempt to hide that he's looking around.]

[beauchevalier]

[He watches his friend observing the apartment, but then he invites him into the kitchen.]

I was starting to make bacon and eggs for only myself, but I can add more so we can share.

[bufudine]

[Serph' attention goes to Angelo and the kitchen when he speaks. Nodding, Serph enters the kitchen and takes a seat at the table there. He's familiar with the smell of bacon and eggs, thanks to Tiir living with them, and he's not opposed to the taste.]

I'd like that.

[A pause.]

Did you enjoy your birthday yesterday?

[beauchevalier]

[Angelo focuses on cooking as his friend is sitting at the table in his kitchen. It's not until he's asked the question that his attention turns to answering.]

Yes, it was good. It's the first one I've enjoyed in years.

[bufudine]

[Serph know better than to ask about the other ones, and since Angelo doesn't volunteer further information about his birthday, Serph doesn't pry. Instead, he just watches Angelo look, breathing in the pleasant smell coming from the pan, content to have some relaxing down time in the presence of a friend.]

[beauchevalier]

[Angelo is a bit creeped out by the fact Serph is watching him cook, but he continues until the food is done. He then sets up two plates for both of them, casually sitting down across from his friend afterwards and begins eating quietly. Serph might feel an air of almost noble-like qualities coming from Angelo as he eats too.]

[bufudine]

[Serph nods in thanks when Angelo sets the food down in front of him. The first few bites, Serph eats them slowly, savouring the taste. It's different to Tiir's cooking, but that isn't a bad thing.

However, look away for a brief moment and--

HOLY HELL IS ALL THE FOOD GONE ALREADY!?

Yes. Yes it is. Even though Serph eats quickly, at least he eats cleanly, leaving nary a scrap of food behind.]

[beauchevalier]

[Angelo looks up from his plate to see Serph has eaten everything off his own, he thinks the other must have been very hungry. Being mildly curious, he asks Serph about having more.]

If you're still hungry, would you some more? I don't mind making it.

[bufudine]

[Oh Angelo, Serph is always hungry. He shakes his head in response to the question.]

It's fine. This kind of food does not fill me.

[beauchevalier]

[For a moment, he almost mistakes that for something else. Then he remembers Serph's message over the network some time ago about being a cannibal, so his mind doesn't think otherwise.]

...Right, you're a cannibal. Sometimes I forget since you never act that way, at least in front of me.

[bufudine]

[W o w, Angelo. Way to live in the gutter! Just because you live through your dick doesn't mean Serph does, too.

Serph tilts his head, questioning.]

How do you expect a cannibal to act?

[beauchevalier]

[He's very happy living through his sexual lifestyle, it's one of the few things that makes him happy.

But regardless, he shrugs at Serph and answers.]

According to stories I read in the library, they're suppose to be somewhat on the insane side and devour their victims whole almost every time. I only read about them more after that network post you made.

[bufudine]

[...Uh.

Serph shakes his head.]

We are still people. There may have been some of us like that before--

[Serph looks away for a moment, expression neutral]

[beauchevalier]

[Now he feels a little bad for saying that and puts a hand on Serph's shoulder.]

Serph listen, it shouldn't matter what you are on the outside. What you are on the inside is much more important, right?

[bufudine]

[Wow are you trying to protagonist him? Serph's gaze goes back to Angelo.]

It's fine. What I am doesn't bother me.

[Inside, outside, it's the same to him. The human, the demon, the program, that's all him, both inside and out. He gestures back to Angelo's plate, as if saying, "Please, continue eating."]
