[Video clicks on rather abruptly (maybe from a kick??) and all you really is is... blankets. You can hear some moving around on the mattress and is that a... whining sound? It only lasts a moment, and then softly-]

[Good boy. Biting will get you bit back and then who knows what might happen. Besides, her own nose was going a mile a minute on his own scent. Washu couldn't lie, he did smell interesting.]

Heh. [A chuckles before wandering back to the coral.]

I have been exploring. [As in, exploring this coral, sniff sniff. It smells nuts.]

[She can't help but smile a little before turning to look at the coral. It did smell strange, especially to her. In fact.. Washu tilts her head before getting getting up and moving closer.

Before anyone can stop the curious little fox, she's reaching out to paw at the coral itself and just trying to keep herself from falling.]

N-! [Moves over to her, shoving at her a bit, stopping her from touching it-

why he doesn't really know..]

No! No, don't- don't touch it.

[Goes back to sniffing it.]

[The shove sends her tumbling over sideways and rolling. When she finally comes to a stop, Washu's a little dazed and sprawled on her back.]

[A snarl at the coral before pausing and just sitting down.

I never liked it, I know you have to touch it but- something just came over me, I'm sorry, that was actually pretty rude... [Sudden bursts of energy, whoawhoa.]

[It doesn't take her long to get back on her paws and shake out her fur. His reaction was a little strange. So was his explanation and that meant she needed to experiment a little more.]

Right, uh, sorry. [As he gives a stink eye to the coral. The silent coral, the coral he should be able to talk to, hear, control, but it's... not living, not that type of entity.]

Is that something you can normally do with other wildlife?

It's an ability I was born with, use it frequently, not a time I don't have eyes flying or crawling about this place, heh...

That must be a very handy ability. Are you limited to animals, or does it work on people too?

Uh, animals, creatures, monsters, that sort, not uh, not people though, hard to describe. Pretty much everything for the most part though. I've tried humans and trolls, and a lot of other more uh, sentient species here in Vathion, and it doesn't seem to work.

Some it does though, depends.

[The tip of her tail twitches a bit as she ponders that bit of information. This might require testing~. If she can get him to agree with it and build the right equipment of course.]

I wonder if it has to do with the brainwaves of less conscious creatures... Well, whatever there reason, that's an interesting ability you have.

Uh, I don't, uh, really know. [Looks up at her, cocking his head a little.]

Just kinda do it. Lots of trolls have abilities like that.

Do they? Like what? No one's ever mentioned abilities to me before.

Uh, yeah, uh. [A stare, sits down.]

Psionics, mind control, chuckle voodoos, uh, others. I have the ability to commune and control animals. I guess the others you've spoken to either don't have abilities or uh, don't use them as freely as I do? It's a pretty big part of my life, heh. And uh, sometimes trolls like to hide their abilities, depending on their caste or uh- like if they, want to surprise someone with them...

And sometimes a trolls powers aren't that obvious. [Cough, Darkleer, cough.]

[She tilts her head to the side and stares at him a bit. That was quite a bit to make a mental note of and it opened up yet another avenue of study for her.]

...Your race never ceases to interest me. I really need to see which one of you would be willing to sit though testing.

[Peers forward a little, slight worry but some interest on his face.]

[Stares at for a bit before getting up again to sniff at the coral.]

Guess I don't have much else to do lately.

And just like that she's starting to wander away from the coral. Washu's following her nose for the most part, looking for something more interesting then the coral for them to explore.

He doesn't notice right away, but when he does he follows, eventually pawing and snipping softly at her hair.

She was almost going to go back and swat at his nose if he hadn't started to follow her. Every nip and pawing got its own in response until it started to turn into a little game between them.
