[video] Not a curse, but it sure feels like one--
[The SFC flicks on with a "thump", having been knocked carelessly over while its owner raids the room she's been using. She really should just... go grab an apartment or something after so long. Not up for discussion right now, though! Things are tossed every which way--still being tossed every which way, and though it's a bit muffled and it's all to herself, Sheena's audible enough.]
Not there, either--Damn! Where is it, where is it, where is it...? Come on, think! Where could it have gone? Ooooh...!
[Something flies through the frame, catching the device by the corner to spin it, knock it off balance again to show Sheena. ...Just. Not upright. More like off-kilter starting at 90 degrees and halfway to upside down.]
Oh, man. Where could it have gone? It's not like it's something I take out very much!
[She passes into the frame, though the only part of her visible is the span of her hips and her waist. One hand on a hip, she twists to go pace to another part of the room but stops. And jumps a bit, darting in to duck in front of the SFC. Brows drawn together, she rights it and grins nervously.]
Definitely not my first choice, but--Hey, by chance no one out there's seen a ring, have they? It's, uh, just kind of an inexpensive one, no accessory effects or anything impressive, but it's set with a flat green stone?

[Hi Sheena, have an elf.]
You might not have lost it though. A lobster did Christmas wrong and mixed up a buncha people's stuff. If you have something that belongs to someone else they prolly have your ring.
I'm Sola, by the way. What's your name?
no subject
No, it's a pretty normal ring.
[With really particular origins. Really drunk particular origins.]
But I don't... think that's it. I haven't seen anything that isn't mine or that I haven't bought since arriving here.
[But she smiles after that uncertain moment, pinching her shoulders up for a second in sort of a shrug.]
Nice to meet you, Sola; I'm Sheena.

[He smiles in greeting.]
Well your apartment is kind of a mess, maybe that's why you can't find it? That's why I can't find things a lot of the time at home so maybe if you clean up, it'll be there.
[He knows from experience, being a great collector of 'stuff']

[Sheena glances behind her, and she can feel her shoulders lifting a bit in embarrassment.]
Ah, well, I was just searching through some things to see if maybe it'd fallen somewhere.
[When she looks back to the screen, she knows she's turning a little pink.]
This wasn't even supposed to be on, at first, so when I was thr--looking through stuff, it must've gotten knocked on somehow.

[Let's see, what does he do when he loses things?]
Where did you see it last?

[If the nervous laughter doesn't give herself away...]
I don't really remember. I don't wear it, so I don't think to look for it most of the time. It's more like a luck charm than anything else. Except it isn't actually luckier than anything else.

[She fidgets a little because wow, talking to Lloyd about this is a little... Awkward.]
I usually keep it in my pocket, kind of... um, like a charm or something.
[Aaand now her face is red.]
I-i-it's not that important, really! W-well, it kind of is, but it's sentimental value. I-I'll just look around some more!
Your pockets don't have any holes, do they? Mine sometimes get like that. I have to stitch them back up. If there's a hole, though, it could have fallen out anywhere. If there isn't a hole, though...
Have you checked your couch cushions? Or your wash tub? Maybe your ring fell out when you were sitting down, or doing your laundry.
[Someone has yet to discover the magic that is the washing machine.]
No, they don't. And I've looked everywhere around here, and still nothing. I probably just need to retrace my steps but I've been all over the place...!
Re: [video]
I don't know what to tell you. It's got to be somewhere, right? Keep looking, and keep asking. Someone else might still pick it up. I'll keep an eye out for it, too.
[She laughs, a little awkwardly but it'd be... nice if someone did. Posted something about it. Make the whole thing a lot easier to deal with.]
Thanks, Lloyd.
[...Though that's a little awkward, too, when she gets down to it.]
[He smiles, though there's still a hint of awkwardness there, too.]
Good luck looking for it. For both of us, I guess.
