[Appearing on screen is a redheaded teen, eyebrows drawn in frustration. Still, there's not the outrage that could be coming from her, which is better for all around. She's also gotten herself some regular clothes by now, meaning she's not in the plugsuit she arrived in.]
Since I haven't found a way back yet and whoever's in charge is too cowardly to contact me, I guess I should ask some questions for the time I'm here. It's January here, right? How am I supposed to count that? It wasn't even my birthday yet in my world, but you're all convinced that's the right date here, so am I just supposed to count myself older? Some birthday, in that case.
But more importantly.
[She crosses her arms, expression turning sterner.]
How does time works outside this place? Someone tried to tell me it stops while I'm here, but her story was so sketchy that I don't know if I can believe her. It would be better if it were true, but I'm not going to buy into it just based off my own hope. I'm not that kind of idiot, so if you're going to try to explain it one way or another, you better have backup!
And one last thing: I've looked through the list of names on this thing and I don't see anyone I know. I haven't seen them around town either, and while First is so quiet I wouldn't be surprised if I missed her, I probably would have spotted someone by now otherwise.
[Not all she has in mind are faces she'd want to see, but that's a little beside the point right now.]
But that's it. If you have information, I'm listening, but otherwise don't bother me. I don't have time for idiots, you understand?
[And with that, the video ends.]

[Hi, Asuka. Really, he will tell her things if she manages to actually ask instead of just insulting him. And he does actually look more well-rested than he did when she first saw him.]
Who said I wanted to hear from you? All you did was waste my time when we met before, and I don't see you acting any different already. If you know I don't have time for the likes of you, then don't reply in the first place.
[She wouldn't put it past him just to mess with her, even if it's no more than her own distrust.]
[And because that's basically a introduction to actually answering those questions...]
What you do about how old you are is your own choice. As for time outside this place, well. This is a different universe. Why should time be synchronized between every single one? But beyond that, there's proof- sometimes people will disappear from Vatheon, and return again. If it happens in a short amount of time, they often remember their experiences in this world, but they tell us they didn't remember it happening when they returned home. It's only once they're brought back to Vatheon that they realize they disappeared from their own world in the first place.
It makes sense, if you think about it. People can be taken here from different points in time. If they weren't returned to the same moment, then those taken here from later points in time would remember one of their friends disappearing for a while from their home universe. And finally, people have disappeared from this world for a few days and have been returned years older.
[At the end, the irritation has eased from her face, if not the wariness.]
... Why did you tell me all that? Not that I believe you just yet, but what's the point?
Though, for all you know, I might just like the sound of my own voice. Or maybe I like disproving first impressions. Who knows?

Might as well have your birthday. At least you can demand cake.
Time can work differently between dimensions, but they don't have proof for all of 'em. Just a few cases of people leaving and coming back or being from different times. If none of them are from your world, I wouldn't count on things being the same when you get back.
It hardly seems worth it. When everything's free here to begin with, why go demanding a cake when I could get one any other day for no special reason at all? A party would be pointless, too. Who am I going to invite? These weirdos?
[Hmph.]
And I know I can't be sure about mine that easy, but if I figure out how things usually work, that's better than nothing.
[Especially better than thinking there's no hope at all.]
[He raises an eyebrow.]
I thought you said you weren't big on hoping.
[And she... hasn't really made new ones yet.]
And you're misinterpreting me. I said I wouldn't believe on hope alone. If there's a basic trend for every other world I hear about to go off of, that tells me what the most likely thing for my situation is. It would be weirder for them to do things differently for me than not do the same.
Well, that's disappointing.

So is first-hand experience enough "backup" for you?
[Video] apologies for the delay!
Not as good as some kind of proof, but better than nothing. Go ahead and tell me.
[Not that she's entirely sure what would make for actual proof, but that's besides the point.]
[Video] No prob~
[He shrugs, his smile coming easily.] It may not make sense, and you don't have to believe anything if you don't want to. But that's how things worked for me. You're probably going to hear similar stories if you ask around.
Sounds like what someone else told me. But that's why I'm asking around: I'm not going to believe it just from one or two people, but if I hear it from most or don't get anything to the contrary, then I can buy it. Even if I still don't get how it works that way.
[A skeptic, huh? Makes sense. This place wasn't really easy to figure out from a logical standpoint, after all.]
[Sigh.]
I know this place is weird to begin with, but that's exactly the thing: I've seen it, so I can believe it. Same with other stuff here I've either never heard of or wouldn't believe otherwise. If I'd just stayed in my world all this time and someone came up and tried to convince me this place was real, I'd sooner guess they were high or insane than telling the truth. Do you get what I'm saying?

If you don't have time for idiots then shouldn't you be keeping quiet?
[text]
Funny, the way you talk I'd think you were looking in a mirror. Keep your fingers off the keys if you're just going to sling baseless comments. You're only wasting both our time otherwise.
[text]
... That and I'm surprised you even parsed what I told you then, Miss.
[text]
What's your problem, anyway? Do you really think I can't understand a basic conversation? You don't even know me, let alone what I've accomplished in my life, so don't act like you have the base to go throwing around your stupid insults.
