[With her free hand she holds up a moist, crumpled brochure.]

Unfortunately I didn't see anything about that in here. If I'd known I was going to be taking a water ride today I would have put it in a plastic bag first, but you know, I must have just missed my invitation in the mail.

[She sighs and pushes aside some of her wet hair that's clinging to her face.]

Other than that I guess I need a place to crash? At least until things start making sense again.

So they weren't kidding about the free stuff?

No. If you show the residents your tattoo, they will allow you to get most everything in Vatheon without cost.

[Darcy looks and considers the tattoo now on her hand, between her thumb and index finger.]

Yeah, I was wondering about. Looks like I've got my own, personal "Hangover" situation. At least it's not on my face, though.

Hangover situation? I do not comprehend. The tattoos are given to everyone who is brought to Vatheon.

You know. Like the movie.

I have never seen it.

Please tell me they at least have movies here.

They do. However, most of them have an ocean theme.

Seriously?

Yes. That theme is present in almost everything in Vatheon produced by the natives.

Not above-sea imports, then?

There is nothing on the island for them to import from.

Fantastic. So no one's found a connection to the outside world?

No. There is a barrier that surrounds this place and prevents us from leaving.

Okay...so is there anyone making an effort to bust out of here?

There are always efforts, but they often amount to little. There is no known method of returning by choice.

By choice?

People randomly disappear from Vatheon, and are returned to their own worlds.

How do you know they're returned home?

Because occasionally people return here, and remember being brought back to their own worlds. It has happened to me, as well as others I know.

Oh that's good. I love being yanked back and forth between places.
