[ So it's been roughly a good week or so since she's arrived and Shiemi's spent that time getting settled into the Villa, coming to terms with the fact that yes, she IS going to be stuck here for a while. The fact that some of her friends were here was comforting, though overall it was still disorienting.

So obviously, now is the time for a post! It takes her a good while to get the video running. ]

Anyway, I... I was just wondering. Does this place have any gardens or anything I can plant flowers with? I... I'm just curious...

There is plenty of gardening equipment, if you know where to look.

[And Mitsuhide most certainly does. He smiles softly, voice quiet and calm as usual.]

Some of the locals helped me to construct a water garden a year ago, so I think that most ideas you might have for your garden will be possible.

There is a particular shop in a street near the plaza that deals with most basic gardening equipment, and provides seeds and saplings as well. You can't miss it; the local sells flowers by themselves, too, and fills the window with her displays.

Oh, I was working on renovating the greenhouse in our backyard. I still have a lot of work to do, but it's more like I need to decide what the layout of the backyard should be.

You like gardening too?

I do! It's very soothing... and it's also useful with my work, too.

The backyard's pretty big! I think it can fit a pond back there and everything although we already have one out front, so that would be redundant. The greenhouse is not so big, though, or at least it's not as big as the one I had back home. I still planted some flowers in there, but I would like to work on making it bigger so I can start growing vegetables.

Ah, I see, I see... I think a larger greenhouse would be nice, too. I want to grow some herbs and medicinal plants of my own, as well...

... I got the suggestion of placing a small pavilion in the back, somewhere in the center of the flower garden. I think it would be nice... give people a place to sit down and relax while they're there! What do you think?

There are many opportunities to begin gardens. If nowhere else, the forest quadrant is available, though many houses also have places for it, I believe.

I see...! Right now I want to start with the villa I'm staying in, but I do want to expand eventually.

That should be a good beginning. You can obtain many different plants to use in a garden here.
