Selphie Wake Up!~

*Whoa, Selphie feels like she's been asleep for a long, long time. She's sitting up on her bed, surrounded by piles of plush toys. Blinking into her SFC, she does look kinda sleepy, but there's a touch of confusion there too. There's a clock in her room, but no calendar, so she has no idea that she's been in a coma for two weeks*

Good Morning Vatheon! I guess I was asleep...for a long time. Feels like the last time it happened.

What day is it? Did I miss anything?

*Selphie wasn't expecting to hear that chuckle, and she shows it with a giggle of her own. She rolls her eyes slowly - what kind of a question was that?*

Of ~course~ I do. One of the cafes at the plaza does the best ones! Wanna try?

[How is he supposed to know that? He doesn't indulge in waffles!]

Good, then you can lead the way, and I'll pay. Where do you want to meet?

[booyaka_boom]

*Well, duh, Aya, it's one of the first things that people find out here - sooo important!*

Uhm... let's just meet at the plaza! I'll get you at a bench, near the fountain, okay? I'll be there in like... fifteen minutes?

*And then to action?*

[If his sister was here, then he would have a need to know about such a thing. Maybe he can get a head start.]

That sounds fine. Don't be late. [With a short wave of his hand, he ends the feed before getting ready to head over to the plaza.]

[With all the action in the world!]

*Selphie nods, determined not to be any later than she said. But, this is Selphie, so of course she's a little bit late, but only a couple of minutes. She appears on the plaza looking much fresher than she did on her SFC, and scouts out Aya*

[Aya is sitting at a bench, watching the locals pass by. He's mentally keeping track of how many times certain people pass by and what interactions occur. Force of habit, really, but it's a good way to keep up his skills.]

[He spots Selphie easily and stands, waving at her once.]

*Selphie smiles brightly as she sees Aya, lifting her own hand to wave back, only much more and much quicker than his wave. She practically skips over to see him*

Hey, Aya! You ready for some waffle?

*She doesn't wait for an answer, but takes hold of his elbow, nodding towards a little cafe behind him*

[Aya is holding something in his other hand, but with Selphie pulling him along, he forgets about it for now. He was going to respond, but finds that answering would be futile and redundant.]

What do you recommend?

*Sorry - she's just too excited about tasty waffles to notice that being pulled along might be inconvenient if he was holding something! She opens the door to the cafe and pulls him inside*

I'm going to have waffles with chocolate and cream, maybe some strawberries too!

*She finally lets go, only to take a look around the cafe for a booth to sit in*

...you're going to eat all of it? [He wants to see that.]

[Aya spots a place for them and taps her shoulder before walking over to it. It's near the window.]

[booyaka_boom]

Well, of course! Otherwise it'll all go waste!

*She pauses to cross over to the seat Aya pointed out, sliding in next to the window*

Unless you wanna share some?

Well, it depends on how big it is. [He slides in across from her, placing what he was holding in his hand onto the table in front of her. It was a small plush cat toy, with a tag that says 'Get well soon. From Tails.']

[booyaka_boom]

*Selphie's face instantly brightens at the sight of the cute toy. She picks it up and gives it a quick hug before reading the tag out loud*

Get well soon..from Tails...

*Suddenly something clicks and her cheeks flare rosy pink, her eyes widening as she stares at Aya*

Oh no...

[formerabyssinian]

[He gives her a wry smile at her reaction.]

You were quite nice to me when I was... [Aya scratches the back of his neck while looking to the side.] A cat. So, thank you.

[booyaka_boom]

*Selphie struggles to swallow, reddening even more at his thanks. She had hugged that cat within an inch of its life, she'd kissed its nose and head and cheeks and neck, she'd scratched his chin! Her eyes flicker over his face and neck before she lowers her head, looking quite doomed*

Oh no... Aya, I'm sorry...

[formerabyssinian]

[While all that was true, he can't understand why she looks so red.]

Hmm? Sorry for what?

[booyaka_boom]

So embarrassing...

*She hugs the little cuddly cat closer to herself for comfort. Still.. he definitely didn't seem angry or mortified. That was good. Selphie glances up at him carefully*

I mean..I'm just sorry if..you were uncomfortable..

[formerabyssinian]

[He shrugs. Nope, not mortified (or not entirely so) or upset.]

You did have a pretty strong grip before, but it's not out of the ordinary for one to do to a cat.

But let's just keep this between us.

[booyaka_boom]

Oh.. right. Sorry..

*And she does look genuinely sorry, for him and every cat she's ever squeezed, but she manages a small smile*

You know, I went back to the plaza a few times to see if Tails was hungry or bored. But I'm glad nothing happened to him, he was just you! Don't worry, your secret's safe with me.

[That gets a chuckle out of him and a smile.]

I did manage to find my way into the flower shop. Which prompted me to secure the shop better... [Because if he could get in as a kitten, then who knows what other uninvited guests could arrive.]

*Still looking a little sheepish, Selphie is at least managing to relax now, petting her cuddly cat on the top of its head*

There ya go, so at least something good came out of your curse!

*She smiles, then turns to waitress who's come to get there order. Instead of waiting to ask Aya what he wants, she's already ordered a bigger than usual size portion of waffles with strawberries, cream, and chocolate sauce, just like she said. She asks for a pot of tea, then turns to Aya to see, at least, if he'd like anything to drink*

True. [Selphie had ordered so quickly, he wondered if she was a ninja.]

[He looks over the menu, taking his time with choosing the tea. Some flavors are questionable, so he just chooses a tea infused with ginger and orange peel.]

How long were you asleep for?

*Selphie just watches as he choose his tea - there was a pretty long list after all. Still, when he orders ginger and orange, Selphie pulls a face - she wasn't the biggest fan of weird-tasting teas*

Hmm...two weeks. Maybe a little longer.

[He saw that face!]

What's that look for?

*She blinks, wondering what he's on about*

Ooh... It's just, I don't really understand all the creepy tea flavours, is all!

*As she says so she watches the waitress bring over their order*
