[ So really all this video is is of books falling off a shelf. After they've settled, there is a tiny voice- ]

[ Duke is not wearing clothes in his own size, as the want for clothes that he doesn't keep on with tent-string was greatly diminished by his want to look at books.

Even if they are strange books in a strange barrier-ed place without any knights or sword stairs or palaces or quarters like he'd heard from the cats. ]

[When Duke shows up, Lloyd almost doesn't notice, so intent is he on the starfish in his hands. When is Duke going to pop out of it? How will he come out? It's a mystery! He barely dares to blink in case he misses something important!

Only his own short attention span works against him there, and before long he's looking up - and blinking. Wait, that's him! Lloyd's eyes widen and he points at Duke.]

How'd you get outta the star?!

.. I left the library... And walked here?

[Color Lloyd impressed.]

You walked an' you got big!

[He holds up his starfish as proof.]

[He makes a beeline straight for Duke, then taps him on the shoulder.]

[ He's supposed to try to tag the other boy now? ]

[Yes, yes he is! Lloyd's scrambling away now as fast as his little legs can carry him!

Well, fast except he's looking back to see if Duke is chasing him.]

Come on, you gotta chase me!

[ He's a bit bigger than you, is it really fair to run as fast as he can? Probably not.

Maybe if he just keeps missing... ]

[He's keeping ahead! He's winning! Lloyd laughs delightedly.]

You can't catch me!

Maybe! [ How about a near miss? He almost got your shirt Lloyd! ]

Ahhh!

[Lloyd shrieks at the near miss, running even faster! Whew, that was close! With the narrow miss, though, his confidence soars.]

Na na, I'm too faster than that! Come on, you gotta catch me!

Ah-

[ He 'gotta'...? Has to? Okay-

He tries to miss again, and then a little faster to try to catch Lloyd's shoulder. ]

Tag!

[Lloyd squeals, half surprise and half laugh, and stumbles when he realizes he's been tagged.]

Nooooo! Now I gotta get you!

[Run, Duke, run! He's turning and lunging after you!]

[ This is kinda fun, in a 'lots of running' sort of way.

Duke laughs a little, turning as quick as he can and trying to race off. He might be pinwheeling his arms for balance a little. ]

[Lloyd's doing his best to try to keep up, little legs pumping as fast as they can! He has a few unsteady moments where he nearly loses his balance, but he's not about to let that slow him down!]

I'm gonna get you! You betta run!

[ Lloyd's response is a bit of a giggle as Duke looks back to see how much of a gap there is - and then he needs to swerve to avoid tripping on curb-before-grass. They found the park? ]

[There's a gap of a few feet now, but that swerve just cost Duke a few inches of it. Lloyd makes a lunge for him, even though he's still too far.]

Gotcha!

[Whoops, spoke too soon! The very curb that Duke swerved at manages to catch the toe of Lloyd's foot. He trips and falls with a startled yelp.]

Ah!

A-are you okay?

[ He doesn't know if he should help him up or stay a little away - is this a pause in playing the game? ]

[Thank goodness for the grass, but the fall still managed to leave a scrape on his ankle from scraping on the curb. Tears spring to Lloyd's eyes even before he sees the red scratch marks.]

Uhm.

[ But there's no adults running over to help so- Duke has to try to help! He looks about, trying to either spot An Adult who could help, or something that looks like the cupboard with gels and bottles. Duke, you're outside.... ]

Should I go find a gel? Or a doctor?

[He gives a little hiccuping gasp of breath, not quite a sob, but definitely something made from pain. He sticks his leg out, looking up at Duke with teary eyes.]

Kiss it better. P'ease?

[ Lloyd Duke just realized you are really really little. He should have had them run in the grass the whole time-

But he'll sit down, and carefully blow on the scratch and.. Okay have a little kiss. ]

[Lloyd still sniffles a little, but the kiss seems to have done the trick, mollifying him a bit. He scrubs his eyes, then gingerly rubs the sore spot before getting back up off the ground.

Wait. Wait a moment.]
