[Davesprite's having a bit of a freak out. He's five years old and he's pretty sure he isn't supposed to be orange. He's also pretty sure he shouldn't be part crow and have a ghost tail. And these are definitely not the sunglasses Bro gave him! This isn't even the apartment he lives in!

Speaking of his big brother, looking around his apartment has told him nothing about his whereabouts. Dave is about ready to cry from all this overwhelming strangeness, but he doesn't because he's a Strider and Striders don't cry.

So, he turns to the thing that looks like a starfish walkie-talkie and flips it on to whatever setting. Maybe someone can help him find Bro. As long as he has his big brother around, he'll be fine.]

Um...he's tall. He wears pointy sunglasses and a hat. And he has blond hair and it's kinda spiky.

Bro always told me that Striders stick together. 'Cause that's what fam'ly does, right?

I guess? [He's never really heard anyone say that about Striders, because Bro didn't really know much about him, to say things like that. But he's heard the family bit, and since they're a family, he guesses that's what they should do too.]

If we're supposed to stick together, does that mean we should live in the same place?
