[The video feed cuts on. Jack is as always sitting in front of that blasted piano of his, it's like he never gets away from it! But this is different than most of the other times he sit's in front of the thing. He isn't even playing it.

He just wants to talk. It's hard to determine whether he's actually upset or not.]

I hardly remember this time last year. I just know it will be Valentine's day without Alice around. I don't mean to sound bitter if I do.

But I must know, what do people do on Valentine's day other than spend it with someone they love? I was told it was called "being single". I'm not really sure...

Well, I'm not so sure about this year. Perhaps we'll have another ball. Which I will not attend this year unfortunately. I have yet agreed to spend time with a good friend of mine, so I suppose normal will become my Valentone's day.
