Well, this certainly wasn't how I was expecting to spend my day...

[Shiro's face is a bit obscured at the moment, as his SFC is sat down next to a rice cooker (how did he get a hold of that? The world may never know) as his fingers work over a puzzle.]

ah, no... not quite... but as far as first curses go, this isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be!

... no, that was close...

[He keeps working at it, but not a second later, it finally clicks and the cooker opens up - empty currently, but at least now he can start to make his rice.]

Wonderful! This is kind of fun! How is everyone else fairing with their puzzles? I'd be more than happy to assist, if some one would be willing to pass some dinner my way in payment!

[He bends down, giving the SFC a completely innocent, 'you know you want to feed me and have me help' smile before shutting his SFC off.]

Truth be told, all these puzzles are infuriating him. If Munakata was here, he'd have a field day.

Oh! Me! Can you help me? I can't get into my apartment... but there is food in there, and I'd be willing to share some but - I can't get in.

*There's a rather dejected sigh as she moves out the way to show a sudoku puzzle attached to her door. All the blank spaces are filled with pencilled sad faces*

Oh! Sudoku! It's a math puzzle! They can be tricky, but I think I could figure out easily enough.

[The faces are amusing, though]</small Where are you? It would probably be easier to do in person.

While I can do some of the puzzles [Maths ones in particular.] The ones I can't solve happen to be where the food is. [He makes a face as his stomach grumbles. he hasn't eaten in a while.] So the puzzles are getting some what irritating.

You know food's free here, right? If you can solve the puzzles so easily, just go get your own from someplace instead of extorting it out of other people.

*Selphie repeats the words, her mouth falling open - he could have said it was the start of the apocalypse and she couldn't have looked more doomed*

Yes! I enjoy Sudoku actually, and I haven't gotten that for one of my puzzles yet, so I'd love to try it!

[Shiro jots down the information on a piece of paper.]

What's wrong with wanting to share food with people? A meal is far more enjoyable when in the company of others.

And that aside, I'm a terrible cook and would likely poison myself if I tried to make something on my own!

[Just listen to how dramatically he says it! Clearly this is a dilemma of the utmost importance!]

This does not seem like other curses. They start at the very beginning of the week. If it were a curse, it would be more likely that there would have been some sign of it before today.

*Wow, that's a pretty crazy idea. But Selphie will be pleased to get into her apartment - and there's plenty of food to share. When he gets there, Selphie will be prodding at the sudoku puzzle, looking tired and confused*

[Suddenly a Shiro! If she didn't hear him approaching, there's a reason for that! He just oh so casually floated down behind her from the air.

Who's to say things haven't suddenly been changed up a bit? It could happen! The same old routine would get boring after a while, don't you think?

*What the ~?! Selphie visibly jumps from where she's slumped in front of her door, definitely looking more alert now, if not a little startled!*

That is true. Nevertheless, it will take time to determine whether this is a curse, or something else.
