Well, this certainly wasn't how I was expecting to spend my day...

[Shiro's face is a bit obscured at the moment, as his SFC is sat down next to a rice cooker (how did he get a hold of that? The world may never know) as his fingers work over a puzzle.]

ah, no... not quite... but as far as first curses go, this isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be!

... no, that was close...

[He keeps working at it, but not a second later, it finally clicks and the cooker opens up - empty currently, but at least now he can start to make his rice.]

Wonderful! This is kind of fun! How is everyone else fairing with their puzzles? I'd be more than happy to assist, if some one would be willing to pass some dinner my way in payment!

[He bends down, giving the SFC a completely innocent, 'you know you want to feed me and have me help' smile before shutting his SFC off.]

*Selphie is sitting slumped outside her apartment door as she looks into her SFC. She certainly doesn't seem amused, but she does perk up at the sight of someone managing to actually do their puzzle*

Oh! Me! Can you help me? I can't get into my apartment... but there is food in there, and I'd be willing to share some but - I can't get in.

*There's a rather dejected sigh as she moves out the way to show a sudoku puzzle attached to her door. All the blank spaces are filled with pencilled sad faces*

What the heck is this?!

Oh! Sudoku! It's a math puzzle! They can be tricky, but I think I could figure out easily enough.

[The faces are amusing, though]</small Where are you? It would probably be easier to do in person.

Math...puzzle...

*Selphie repeats the words, her mouth falling open - he could have said it was the start of the apocalypse and she couldn't have looked more doomed*

*She blinks rapidly, eyes full of hope. (Derp, mun is unsure of Selphie's accomm at the moment but handwaves that and she tells him exactly where she lives*

Yes! I enjoy Sudoku actually, and I haven't gotten that for one of my puzzles yet, so I'd love to try it!

[Shiro jots down the information on a piece of paper.]

Easy enough to find! I'll be there shortly!

*Wow, that's a pretty crazy idea. But Selphie will be pleased to get into her apartment - and there's plenty of food to share. When he gets there, Selphie will be prodding at the sudoku puzzle, looking tired and confused*

I don't think that's going to get you the answer you're looking for.

[Suddenly a Shiro! If she didn't hear him approaching, there's a reason for that! He just oh so casually floated down behind her from the air.

He's kind of a troll like that.]

*What the ~?! Selphie visibly jumps from where she's slumped in front of her door, definitely looking more alert now, if not a little startled!*

Where did you come from?! You nearly gave me a heart attack!

Heheh, sorry. I'm just quiet like that.

Yeah...you're telling me!

*Selphie breathes a sigh of relief then pushes herself into standing. She smiles at him and holds out her hand*

Before you start, I'm Selphie, by the way!

Oh, yes. Yashiro Isana - but most people call me Shiro. It's nice to meet you, Selphie.

Nice to meet you, Shiro!

*She smiles, and moves out the way to point at the sudoku puzzle*

Now - can you fix this?

Yes, of course. Do you have that pencil you were using?

Somewhere...

*Selphie frowned slightly, then was on her hands and knees, trying to find the pencil. It was, actually, sticking out half way under the door, and she just about manages to pull it out. Fortunately, it's the kind with an eraser on the end*

Ah ha!

[Shiro takes the pencil and, with a bit of a flourish, begins to solve the puzzle. At first he's quite quick at getting the numbers in, but he slows down towards the end, erasing a few numbers here and there, redoing it, until eventually--

*Selphie leans over his shoulder, watching very carefully as he fills in the puddle, tilting her head this way and that, like she's trying to figure out some kind of unknown code. When he's done, she grabs his arm in a hug before pushing the door wide open*

Awesome Shiro!~ Now it's dinner time!

Wonderful! I can't wait!

[All the big smiles for her.]

Come on in!

*She ushers him through the door of her tiny apartment, and heads straight for the kitchen*

Let's see...

*Selphie opens up all the cupboards the reveal plenty packs of instant noodles, and many different kinds of snacks*

[As far as Shiro is concerned, it all looks good, just so long as he's not the one cooking it.

He smiles calmly, waiting for her to choose.]

*From her stash of many different kinds and flavours of noodles, Selphie pulls out a few variations*

Okay! So...I got noodles, or I got noodles or...noodles.

Unless you wanna skip straight to the cake, of course.

Ehehe... good as that sounds, noodles should probably come first.

Ookaay! You are about to witness the great chef at work!

*She claps her hands dramatically, spins around, and switches on the kettle*

In that case, I'll simply watch the great chef and stay out of her way!

[This is the best plan. You don't want him helping, Selphie.]

Alriight!

*Selphie gives a sharp salute before turning to pull out two bowls and two sets of chopsticks, and she drops the dry noodles into each bowl*

If you like, you can go sit down on the sofa while you wait. Want something to drink too?

Oh, yes please, that would be wonderful!

[Just going to go flop on the couch now.]

*Once the kettle is boiled, Selphie pours it into the bowls, adds the flavourings, etc. And, she may have a habit of talking to herself as she goes through the process, filling two glasses with orange juice. It all goes on a tray and, inch by inch, she brings it through to the living room*
